Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong.

Blessed is a man who does this, And a son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

“ If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, (niv)

This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.Do not bring a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors. (niv)

Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.” (niv)

“ Say to the Israelites,‘ You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.“‘ Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.For six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death.The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. (niv)

Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the Lord made them holy. (niv)

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. “ Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. (niv)

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others;who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. (niv)

Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided. (niv)

Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. (niv)

I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them,“ What is this wicked thing you are doing— desecrating the Sabbath day? (niv)

“‘ Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. (niv)

The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure. (niv)

Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. (niv)

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. (niv)

And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant— (niv)

I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word. (niv)

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—they do no wrong but follow his ways.You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! (niv)

For this is what the Lord says:“ To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant— (niv)

Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. (niv)

Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. (niv)

The highway of the upright avoids evil; those who guard their ways preserve their lives. (niv)

but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. (niv)

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. (niv)

It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes. (niv)

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. (niv)

It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. (niv)

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. (niv)
