Look, I made him a witness to nations, a ruler and commander of nations.”

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.

They will serve the LORD their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed One, the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.

I will establish over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David will be a prince among them. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the LORD and to his goodness in the last days.

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

In the presence of God, who gives life to all, and of Christ Jesus, who gave a good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge you

Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This is what the LORD says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,saying to the prisoners,“ Come out,” and to those who are in darkness,“ Show yourselves.” They will feed along the pathways, and their pastures will be on all the barren heights.They will not hunger or thirst, the scorching heat or sun will not strike them; for their compassionate one will guide them, and lead them to springs.

You have freed me from the feuds among the people; you have appointed me the head of nations; a people I had not known serve me.

You call me Teacher and Lord— and you are speaking rightly, since that is what I am.

when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

They will live securely, for then his greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.

And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah: Because out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.”

If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives are to submit to their husbands in everything.

My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.
