Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.”

If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you.

He who vindicates me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.

As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel,“ O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,“ Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,“ As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.

In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called:‘ The Lord is our righteousness.’
