彼受屈抑訊鞫、被取而去、於其時代、誰料其見絕於生人之地、乃因我民有罪、當受厥刑乎、

彼遭難時、人審判之、不秉公義、為民罪戾、而受譴責、生命且滅於世、遑計其後乎。

彼遭困苦、被審鞫、枉屈喪命、或作彼因受苦難刑罰而被取與之同世者、誰料彼受折磨、絕離活人之地、乃因我民之罪愆乎、

By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.

He was arrested and sentenced to death. Then he was taken away. He was cut off from this life. He was punished for the sins of my people. Who among those who were living at that time tried to stop what was happening?

Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people.

The Jews answered him,“ We have a law, and by that law He ought to die, because He made Himself out to be the Son of God!”

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

In humiliation His justice was taken away; Who will describe His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth.”

Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

Then the high priest tore his robes and said,“ He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? See, you have now heard the blasphemy;what do you think?” They answered,“ He deserves death!”

But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them,“ You know nothing at all,nor are you taking into account that it is in your best interest that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish instead.”Now he did not say this on his own, but as he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation;and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers.

But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed.

Those who sit in the gate talk about me, And songs of mockery by those habitually drunk are about me.
