But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

But this time you won’t have to leave in a hurry. You won’t have to rush away. The Lord will go ahead of you and lead you. The God of Israel will follow behind you and guard you.

蓋爾上帝耶和華與爾偕往、攻敵拯爾、

謂之曰、我將為爾先導、平治崎嶇、碎銅門、折鐵楗、

若此、爾之輝光、必著若朝暉、爾之得醫、將速見其效、爾之公義、顯於爾前、我耶和華之榮光、衛於爾後、

闢路者前往、眾乃衝至邑門、自邑門而出、其王先之而行、耶和華導於其前、

上帝之使昔行於以色列營前、今移於後、雲柱亦離其前、而立於後、在埃及以色列二營之間、有雲有暗、夕則發光、彼此終夜不相近、○

耶和華先之而往、晝在雲柱以導之、夜在火柱以燭之、俾其行邁、晝夜俱可、晝之雲柱、夜之火柱、弗離民前、

當腰束帶、足納履、手執杖、迅速而食、是為耶和華之逾越節、

民以所攜無酵濕麵、吹為無酵餅、因其被促出境、不得濡滯、且未備餱糧也、

埃及人促以色列民、速出其境、曰、我儕皆死人也、

屈身之俘、得釋必速、免死於阱、其糧不絕、

聞桑杪有步履之聲、則出戰、蓋上帝先爾而行、擊非利士軍旅、

底波拉謂巴拉曰、爾起、今日乃耶和華以西西拉付於爾手之日、耶和華非為爾先導乎、於是巴拉下他泊山、萬人隨之、

從但營之纛者、啟行為後隊、亞米沙代子亞希以謝統領其軍、

主耶和華曰、我置石於錫安以為基、乃經驗寶貴之隅石、其址鞏固、信之者不驚惶、

耶和華使埃及王法老剛愎厥心、追襲以色列人、以色列人毅然而出、
