Look, all you who kindle a fire, who encircle yourselves with torches; walk in the light of your fire and of the torches you have lit! This is what you’ll get from my hand: you will lie down in a place of torment.

凡你们点火，用火把围绕自己的可以行在你们的火焰里，并你们所点的火把中。这是我手所定的：你们必躺在悲惨之中。

看哪！你們一切點火、用火把圍繞自己的，就在你們火焰的光和你們所點的火把中走下去吧！你們必躺在痛苦之地——這就是從我手中臨到你們的！

凡爾燃火、自環以火炬者、其行於爾之火焰、與所燃之火炬中、爾必慘然而臥、我手使然也、

反是以為吾自有火、烟燄環繞、若然則以此照爾出入、可也、不知我必降以災、使彼長戚戚。

惟爾斯眾、皆自燃火、自圍以火炬、以為光照、且恃爾之火光、及爾所燃之火炬而行、當知我必降災於爾、使爾憂痛偃臥、或作爾曹燃火自圍以火炬爾必入爾所燃之烈火內至爾所燃之火炬中我必使爾遭遇如此使爾憂痛偃臥

But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze. This is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment.

But all you sinners who light fires should go ahead and walk in their light. You who carry flaming torches should walk in their light. Here’s what I’m going to do to you. I’ll make you lie down in great pain.

Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who equip yourselves with burning torches! Walk by the light of your fire, and by the torches that you have kindled! This you have from my hand: you shall lie down in torment.

But watch out, you who live in your own light and warm yourselves by your own fires. This is the reward you will receive from me: You will soon fall down in great torment.

Behold, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with flaming arrows, Walk in the light of your fire And among the flaming arrows you have set ablaze. This you will have from My hand: You will lie down in torment.

Look, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with sparks: Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled— This you shall have from My hand: You shall lie down in torment.

Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that gird yourselves about with firebrands; walk ye in the flame of your fire, and among the brands that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

Look, all you who kindle a fire, who encircle yourselves with firebrands; walk in the light of your fire and in the firebrands you have lit! This is what you’ll get from My hand: you will lie down in a place of torment.

Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass[ yourselves] about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks[ that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

Look, all of you who start a fire and who equip yourselves with flaming arrows, walk in the light of the fire you started and among the flaming arrows you ignited! This is what you will receive from me: you will lie down in a place of pain.

Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who adorn yourselves with torches around yourselves, walk in the flame of your fire, and among the torches that you have kindled. You will have this from my hand: you will lie down in sorrow.

This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the person who trusts in mankind. He makes human flesh his strength, and his heart turns from the LORD.He will be like a juniper in the Arabah; he cannot see when good comes but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one lives.The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.

For though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became worthless, and their senseless hearts were darkened.Claiming to be wise, they became fools

Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness.

he does not have to honor his father.’ In this way, you have nullified the word of God because of your tradition.Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said:This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses, but we take pride in the name of the LORD our God.They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand firm.

For you said,“ We have made a covenant with Death, and we have an agreement with Sheol; when the overwhelming catastrophe passes through, it will not touch us, because we have made falsehood our refuge and have hidden behind treachery.”Therefore the Lord GOD said:“ Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable.And I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the mason’s level.” Hail will sweep away the false refuge, and water will flood your hiding place.Your covenant with Death will be dissolved, and your agreement with Sheol will not last. When the overwhelming catastrophe passes through, you will be trampled.Every time it passes through, it will carry you away; it will pass through every morning— every day and every night. Only terror will cause you to understand the message.Indeed, the bed is too short to stretch out on, and its cover too small to wrap up in.

Those who cherish worthless idols abandon their faithful love,

But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image with these signs. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

They will look toward the earth and see only distress, darkness, and the gloom of affliction, and they will be driven into thick darkness.

For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said:“ You will be delivered by returning and resting; your strength will lie in quiet confidence. But you are not willing.”You say,“ No! We will escape on horses”— therefore you will escape!— and,“ We will ride on fast horses”— but those who pursue you will be faster.

“‘ As for you, house of Israel, this is what the Lord GOD says: Go and serve your idols, each of you. But afterward you will surely listen to me, and you will no longer defile my holy name with your gifts and idols.

Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says:“ Look! My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Look! My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Look! My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.Look! My servants will shout for joy from a glad heart, but you will cry out from an anguished heart, and you will lament out of a broken spirit.You will leave your name behind as a curse for my chosen ones, and the Lord GOD will kill you; but he will give his servants another name.Whoever asks for a blessing in the land will ask for a blessing by the God of truth, and whoever swears in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my sight.

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

The sorrows of those who take another god for themselves will multiply; I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood, and I will not speak their names with my lips.

Like a madman who throws flaming darts and deadly arrows,

And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among our members. It stains the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go out of his land.

Come to Bethel and rebel; rebel even more at Gilgal! Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tenths every three days.Offer leavened bread as a thanksgiving sacrifice, and loudly proclaim your freewill offerings, for that is what you Israelites love to do! This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.

when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength

And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Why do you spend silver on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest of foods.

But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“ Then the king told the attendants,‘ Tie him up hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Many pains come to the wicked, but the one who trusts in the LORD will have faithful love surrounding him.
