強據宅第、多得土田、不遺隙地、推其意、幾欲獨攬遍境、深可疾也、

禍哉、爾曹增室於室、增田於田、以致不遺隙地、爾欲獨居斯地乎、

Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

Woe to those who attach house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, And you alone are a landowner in the midst of the land!

他們貪圖田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓人，霸佔房屋和產業。

為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望免災的有禍了！你圖謀剪除多國的民，犯了罪，使你的家蒙羞，自害己命。牆裏的石頭必呼叫；房內的棟樑必應聲。以人血建城、以罪孽立邑的有禍了！

那行不義蓋房、行不公造樓、白白使用人的手工不給工價的有禍了！他說：我要為自己蓋廣大的房、寬敞的樓，為自己開窗戶。這樓房的護牆板是香柏木的，樓房是丹色油漆的。難道你作王是在乎造香柏木樓房爭勝嗎？你的父親豈不是也吃也喝、也施行公平和公義嗎？那時他得了福樂。他為困苦和窮乏人伸冤，那時就得了福樂。認識我不在乎此嗎？這是耶和華說的。惟有你的眼和你的心專顧貪婪，流無辜人的血，行欺壓和強暴。

亞哈聽見拿伯死了，就起來，下去要得耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園。耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，去見住撒馬利亞的以色列王亞哈，他下去要得拿伯的葡萄園，現今正在那園裏。你要對他說：『耶和華如此說：你殺了人，又得他的產業嗎？』又要對他說：『耶和華如此說：狗在何處舔拿伯的血，也必在何處舔你的血。』」亞哈對以利亞說：「我仇敵啊，你找到我嗎？」他回答說：「我找到你了；因為你賣了自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

就用比喻對他們說：「有一個財主田產豐盛；自己心裏思想說：『我的出產沒有地方收藏，怎麼辦呢？』又說：『我要這麼辦：要把我的倉房拆了，另蓋更大的，在那裏好收藏我一切的糧食和財物，然後要對我的靈魂說：靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可作多年的費用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快樂吧！』神卻對他說：『無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所預備的要歸誰呢？』凡為自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。」耶穌又對門徒說：「所以我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃甚麼，為身體憂慮穿甚麼；因為生命勝於飲食，身體勝於衣裳。你想烏鴉，也不種也不收，又沒有倉又沒有庫，神尚且養活牠。你們比飛鳥是何等地貴重呢！

「人子啊，耶路撒冷的居民對你的弟兄、你的本族、你的親屬、以色列全家，就是對大眾說：『你們遠離耶和華吧！這地是賜給我們為業的。』

「人子啊，住在以色列荒廢之地的人說：『亞伯拉罕獨自一人能得這地為業，我們人數眾多，這地更是給我們為業的。』

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們正當人前，把天國的門關了，自己不進去，正要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。
