「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；磨快為要大大殺戮，擦亮為要像閃電。我們豈能快樂呢？它藐視我兒的權杖和一切的木頭。它已經交給人擦亮，可以掌握使用；這刀已經磨快擦亮，好交在行殺戮的人手中。

「那時馬蹄踢踏，壯馬奔馳飛騰。

鞭聲響亮，車輪轟轟，馬匹跳躍，戰車奔騰；

若有人不回頭，他的刀必磨快，弓必上弦，預備妥當。他也預備了致死的兵器，他所射的是火箭。
