定惡人為義的，定義人為有罪的，都為耶和華所憎惡。

你該知道，末世必有艱難的日子來到。那時人會專愛自己，貪愛錢財，自誇，狂傲，毀謗，違背父母，忘恩負義，心不聖潔，沒有親情，抗拒和解，好說讒言，不能節制，性情兇暴，不愛良善，賣主賣友，任意妄為，自高自大，愛好宴樂，不愛神，有敬虔的外貌，卻背棄了敬虔的實質，這等人你要避開。

耶穌對他們說：「你們是在人面前自稱為義的，你們的心，神卻知道；因為人以為尊貴的，是神看為可憎惡的。

你們用言語使耶和華厭煩，卻說：「我們在何事上使他厭煩呢？」因為你們說：「凡行惡的，耶和華看為善，並且喜愛他們；」又說：「公平的神在哪裏呢？」

「眼睛是身體的燈。你的眼睛若明亮，全身就光明；你的眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你裏面的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！」

你的眼睛就是身體的燈。當你的眼睛明亮，全身就光明，當眼睛昏花，全身就黑暗。所以，你要注意，免得你裏面的光暗了。

他們以黑夜為白晝，即使面臨黑暗，以為亮光已近。

你們這使公平變為茵蔯，將公義丟棄於地的人哪！

從前在民間有假先知起來；同樣，將來在你們中間也會有假教師，偷偷地引進使人滅亡的異端。他們甚至不認買他們的主人，自取迅速滅亡。

他們說虛妄誇大的話，用肉體的情慾和淫蕩的事引誘那些剛脫離錯謬生活的人。他們應許人自由，自己卻作了腐敗的奴隸，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴隸。

耶穌回答他們：「你們為甚麼因你們的傳統而違反神的誡命呢？神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必須處死。』你們倒說：『無論誰對父母說：我所當供奉你的已經作了奉獻，就可以不孝敬他的父親。』這就是你們藉着傳統，廢了神的話。

「你們這瞎眼的嚮導有禍了！你們說：『凡指着聖所起誓的算不得甚麼；但是凡指着聖所中的金子起誓的，他就該謹守。』你們這無知的瞎子啊，哪個更大呢？是金子，還是使金子成聖的聖所呢？你們又說：『凡指着祭壇起誓的算不得甚麼；但是凡指着壇上祭物起誓的，他就該謹守。』你們這些瞎子啊，哪個更大呢？是祭物，還是使祭物成聖的壇呢？所以，人指着祭壇起誓，就是指着壇和壇上一切所有的起誓；人指着聖所起誓，就是指着聖所和那住在聖所裏的起誓；人指着天起誓，就是指着神的寶座和那坐在上面的起誓。「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、大茴香、小茴香獻上十分之一，那律法上更重要的事，就是公義、憐憫、信實，你們反倒不做；這原是你們該做的－至於那些奉獻也不可廢棄。

現在，我們稱狂傲的人為有福，並且行惡的人得以建立；他們雖然試探神，卻得以逃脫。」
