俘囚者出囹圄、幽暗者為眾所見、道旁山岡、可以自足、

告俘囚曰、爾可出矣、告居幽暗者曰、爾可出而顯露、出而顯露或作出而為人所見彼行於途必得食、雖履童山亦不絕糧、

to say to the captives,‘ Come out,’ and to those in darkness,‘ Be free!’“ They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill.

I want you to say to the prisoners,‘ Come out.’ Tell those who are in their dark cells,‘ You are free!’“ On their way home they will eat beside the roads. They will find plenty to eat on every bare hill.

saying to the prisoners,‘ Come out,’ to those who are in darkness,‘ Appear.’ They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture;

I will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness,‘ Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.

saying to the prisoners: Come out, and to those who are in darkness: Show yourselves. They will feed along the pathways, and their pastures will be on all the barren heights.

That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that[ are] in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures[ shall be] in all high places.

You will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out,’ and to those who are in dark dungeons,‘ Emerge.’ They will graze beside the roads; on all the slopes they will find pasture.

saying to those who are bound,‘ Come out!’; to those who are in darkness,‘ Show yourselves!’“ They shall feed along the paths, and their pasture shall be on all treeless heights.

to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. (niv)

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. (niv)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, (niv)

I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. (niv)

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. (niv)

I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land.I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord. As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. (niv)

The Lord hears the needy and does not despise his captive people. (niv)

He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, (niv)

The poor will eat and be satisfied; those who seek the Lord will praise him— may your hearts live forever! (niv)

“ In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the Lord’s house and will water the valley of acacias. (niv)

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, (niv)

Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains,because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High.So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” (niv)

“ Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. (niv)

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. (niv)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (niv)

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. Then sheep will graze as in their own pasture; lambs will feed among the ruins of the rich. (niv)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (niv)

You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. (niv)

“ Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. (niv)
