But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

但耶和华说：“勇士掳去的必被夺回，暴君抢去的必被救出。我必与你的敌人争战，拯救你的儿女。

但耶和华这样说：“就是勇士所俘掳的，也可以夺回，强暴者所抢去的，也可以救出来；与你相争的，我必与他们相争；你的儿女，我却要拯救。

然而耶和华如此说：“就算是勇士的俘虏，也必被夺回；强横者的掳物，也必被救出。与你争斗的，我必亲自与他争斗；至于你的儿女，我必亲自拯救。

實在的，永恆主是這麼說：『就是勇士擄掠的、也可以拿回，就使強橫人拿去的、也可以搭救過來；跟你相爭的、我必跟他相爭；你的兒女、我必拯救。

耶和華曰、猛士虜人可以脫、強者獲俘可以救、敵爾者我必敵之、拯爾赤子、

主如是云、勇士所擄、亦能奪歸、強者所攘、亦能解救、敵爾者、我必敵之、必拯救爾之諸子、

But this is what the Lord says:“ Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.

“ Yes, they can,” the Lord answers.“ Prisoners will be taken away from soldiers. Stolen goods will be taken back from the powerful Babylonians. Zion, I will fight against those who fight against you. And I will save your people.

For thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

But the Lord says,“ The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.

For this is what the LORD says:“ Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.

Indeed, this is what the Lord says:“ Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.

But thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.

But thus saith Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

For this is what the Lord says:“ Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.

Indeed,” says the LORD,“ captives will be taken from a warrior; spoils will be rescued from a conqueror. I will oppose your adversary and I will rescue your children.

But Yahweh says,“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the plunder retrieved from the fierce, for I will contend with him who contends with you and I will save your children.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah[ were] oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.Their Redeemer[ is] strong; the LORD of hosts[ is] his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Behold, they shall surely gather together,[ but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue[ that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This[ is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness[ is] of me, saith the LORD.

Say to them[ that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come[ with] vengeance,[ even] God[ with] a recompence; he will come and save you.

Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them,[ even] them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

And all thy children[ shall be] taught of the LORD; and great[ shall be] the peace of thy children.

What shall we then say to these things? If God[ be] for us, who[ can be] against us?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect?[ It is] God that justifieth.Who[ is] he that condemneth?[ It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?[ shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Israel[ is] a scattered sheep; the lions have driven[ him] away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.

The violence done to me and to my flesh[ be] upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this[ is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this[ is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy,[ whom] the LORD hath not defied?For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein[ is] no water.

Shake thyself from the dust; arise,[ and] sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day[ is] blasphemed.

Rejoice over her,[ thou] heaven, and[ ye] holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink,[ and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls,[ and] as the corners of the altar.And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they[ shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem[ shall be] my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place,[ even] in Jerusalem.
