爾實未聞未知、爾耳未通、我知爾甚行詐、自出母胎以來、稱為悖逆者、

爾並未嘗聞之、未嘗知之、爾耳從未啟也、我知爾詐偽、自有生以來、稱為悖逆者、

You have neither heard nor understood; from of old your ears have not been open. Well do I know how treacherous you are; you were called a rebel from birth.

You have not heard or understood what I said. Your ears have been plugged up for a long time. I knew very well that you would turn against me. From the day you were born, you have refused to obey me.

惟彼惡人、自初生以來、行邪僻、言誕妄兮。

蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、我傳默示、若已緘之函、使識文字者讀之、彼必曰、緘封之書、其何能讀、

爾之前事、當憶弗忘、爾在曠野、干爾上帝耶和華震怒、自出埃及之日、越至於此、違逆耶和華。在何烈山、爾干厥怒、耶和華欲殲滅爾。當時我陟山、受其石碑、即耶和華與爾所立之約、居山凡歷四旬晝夜、不食餅、不飲水、耶和華以手書二碑、賜之於我、昔民大會之日、耶和華在山、火焰中、所垂之誡、書於石上。四旬後耶和華以盟約之二碑賜我、諭曰、爾當速下、爾所導出埃及之民、已喪厥心、我示之道、違之甚速、鑄作偶像。又曰、我鑒此民、強項不馴、爾勿禱我、我盡滅之、塗抹其名於天下、我將使爾裔、較彼昌大眾多。我旋踵下山、厥火炎炎、手攜法律之二碑、我見爾、於爾上帝耶和華所示之道、違之甚速、鑄像如犢。我擲二碑、毀於爾前。爾既犯罪、行惡於耶和華前、以干厥怒、耶和華欲殲滅爾、我甚畏懼、仍伏其前、四旬晝夜、不食餅不飲水、耶和華允我所祈。

我得默示、知患難將至、強者行攘奪、暴者行虐遇、無所禁止、以攔人、米太人往哉、環攻巴比倫、維昔巴比倫俾民哀號、己不令此聲入耳矣。

曰、往告斯民、云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、

耶和華兮、爾鑒察予兮、我或坐或起、或寢或興、爾知之稔兮、念慮未萌、爾知之久兮、我之步履、爾察之詳兮、

蓋以色列族、猶大家、負予特甚。

爾不欲以牲牷祭祀、不喜燔祭以贖罪、爾詔告、我聽命兮、

爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、雖熟視若無睹、雖諦聽而不聞、

眾不之信、以賽亞復云、彼任其目瞽、心頑、免目明心悟、遷改而我醫之、

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

我將與誰言、使之聽命、彼充耳不聽、彼姍笑我命、不以為悅。

我猶太人、素逞嗜欲、任血氣、縱私意、本當服刑、如異邦人、

爾曹陷於罪者、當深思之、其無愧於丈夫。

我母懷妊、生我於世、當此之時、我有罪戾、

耶和華又曰、以色列族與、爾曹欺予、若婦欺夫。

耶和華與、爾顯大能、彼不瞻望、惟爾熱中祐民、降火燬敵、令彼見此而愧。

故我設譬語之、以其視不見、聽不聞、而不悟也、其人如是、應以賽亞預言云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、

我耶和華告爾耶路撒冷民云、爾之為爾、若女子生於迦南、以亞摩哩人為父、赫人為母、生時不斷臍、不澡身、不施以鹽、不裹以衣、矜恤爾善待爾者、迄無一人、乃生之日、人棄於田、生命難保。

彼違逆乎我、狎妓生子、待屆月朔、彼及所有、俱必淪亡、

我知爾剛愎性成、鐵項銅額、

彼爽約若亞當、居處斯土、違逆乎我、

主耶和華使我耳聰而不違。

在以色列族耶路撒冷邑中、有可惡之事、猶大人背厥盟約、以耶和華所愛成聖之民、反視為俗、以事他上帝之女、反聯為姻、

我見其所為、欲其歸誠、惟彼不從、其與猶大族、親若姊妹、猶大族效尤、屢欺侮予。以色列族既背我、狥欲而行、我棄之、與以離書、其姊妹猶大族、屢欺侮予、毫無畏葸、狥欲而行、我鑒察之、彼狥欲特甚、崇拜木石、污衊斯邦、厥後佯為歸誠、心不誠慤。○
