我備爾道、使曲為直、毀敵銅門、斷敵鐵楗、

我行於爾前、使曲為直、為爾毀銅門、斷鐵楗、

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

‘ I will march out ahead of you. I will make the mountains level. I will break down bronze gates. I will cut through their heavy iron bars.

“ I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron,

This is what the Lord says:“ I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

“ I will go before you and level the uneven places; I will shatter the bronze doors and cut the iron bars in two.

“ I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

‘ I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

一切山谷將被填滿，山嶺小丘將被削平；扭曲的道將要修直，崎嶇的路將要鋪平。

聽啊，山上喧囂，好像有眾多的民！聽啊，列國喧嚷，列邦聚集！萬軍之耶和華正在召集作戰的軍隊。他們從遙遠之地、從天邊而來——耶和華和他憤怒的器皿正來毀滅全地。哀號吧！因為耶和華的日子近了；這日子來到，像毀滅從全能者來到那樣。因此，人人必雙手發軟，個個都心融膽喪。他們必惶恐，劇痛和痛苦抓住他們；他們必疼痛，像臨產的婦女那樣。他們彼此驚奇對望，面色如火焰。看哪！耶和華的日子將要來到，是殘忍的，帶著盛怒和猛烈的怒氣，為要使這地成為廢墟，為要除滅其中的罪人。天上的星辰和眾星座都不發光；太陽出來時就是黑的，月亮也不放光。我要因世界的邪惡懲罰世界，因惡人的罪孽懲罰惡人；我要使傲慢人的驕傲止息，使強橫者的高傲降卑。我要使世人比純金還稀少，使人類比俄斐的黃金還稀有。為此，在萬軍之耶和華烈怒的日子裡，因著我的盛怒，我要使諸天顫抖；大地必從其原處震開。人必像被追趕的羚羊，又像無人招聚的群羊，各自歸回本族，各自逃到本土。凡被找到的，必被刺死；凡被捉住的，必倒在刀下。他們的幼童必在他們眼前被摔爛；他們的房屋必被搶掠，他們的妻子必被強姦。看哪！我要激起米底亞人來攻擊他們。米底亞人不重視銀子，也不喜愛金子；
