那時，公正要居於曠野，公義要住在果園。

基達的所有羊群都必聚集到你那裡，尼拜約的公綿羊要供你使用；牠們必被獻在我的祭壇上作蒙悅納的祭物。我必使我榮美的殿得榮耀。

主對我如此說：「一個雇工年之內，基達的一切榮耀都必滅盡。

你們當從西拉經過曠野，到錫安城的山，把羊羔送給那地的管轄者！

我有禍了！因為我寄居在米設，居住在基達的帳篷之間。

傳好消息的人行在山上，他的腳蹤多麼佳美！他宣告平安，傳美好的消息，宣告救恩，又對錫安說：「你的神作王了！」

耶和華對她說：「兩國在你的腹中，兩族將從你裡面分出來；一族要比另一族強，將來大的要服事小的。」

看哪，我要做一件新事，現在就要發生了！難道你們不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在荒漠開江河。

有聲音呼喊著：「要在曠野預備耶和華的道路，在荒漠為我們的神修直大道！
