You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

You will toss them in the air. A strong wind will catch them and blow them away. You will be glad because I will make that happen. You will praise me. I am the Holy One of Israel.

我要差陌生人來到巴比倫，他們要簸揚它，使它的地空無一物。在它遭禍的日子，他們要四圍攻擊它。

耶和華啊，你是我的神，我要尊崇你，稱頌你的名。因為你以信實忠信行遠古所定奇妙的事。你使城市變為廢墟，使堅固的城荒涼，使外邦人的城堡不再為城，永遠不再重建。所以，強大的民必尊敬你，殘暴之國的城必敬畏你。

我在境內各關口用簸箕篩我的百姓，使他們喪掉兒女，又毀滅他們，他們仍不轉離所行的道。

但你們得以在基督耶穌裏是本乎神，他使基督成為我們的智慧，成為公義、聖潔、救贖。如經上所記：「要誇耀的，該誇耀主。」

「人論我說，『公義、能力，惟獨在乎耶和華。人必歸向他，凡向他發怒的都必蒙羞。以色列的後裔必因耶和華得稱為義，並要彼此誇耀。』」

耶和華如此說：「智慧人不要因他的智慧誇口，勇士不要因他的力氣誇口，財主也不要因他的財富誇口；誇口的卻要誇自己有聰明，認識我是耶和華，知道我喜悅在世上施行慈愛、公平和公義。這是耶和華說的。

馬利亞說：「我心尊主為大；我靈以神我的救主為樂；

列邦喧鬧，如同大水滔滔；但神一斥責，他們就遠遠躲避，他們被追趕，如同山上風前的糠粃，又如暴風前的碎稭；

哈拿禱告說：「我的心因耶和華快樂，我的角因耶和華高舉。我的口向仇敵張開；我因你的救恩歡欣。「沒有一位聖者像耶和華，除你以外沒有別的了，也沒有磐石像我們的神。

然而，我要因耶和華歡欣，因救我的神喜樂。

惡人並不是這樣，卻像糠粃被風吹散。

因為真受割禮的，就是我們這藉着神的靈敬拜、以基督耶穌為誇耀、不依靠肉體的。

不但如此，我們既藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與神和好，也就藉着他以神為樂。

他手裏拿着簸箕，要揚淨他的穀物，把麥子收在倉裏，把糠用不滅的火燒盡。」

我因耶和華大大歡喜，我的心因神喜樂；因他以拯救為衣給我穿上，以公義為外袍給我披上，好像新郎戴上華冠，又如新娘佩戴首飾。地怎樣使芽長出，園子怎樣使所栽種的生長，主耶和華也必照樣使公義和讚美在萬國中發出。
