他要按照各人的行为施行报应，把烈怒降与他的敌人，把报应加给他的仇敌，向众海岛的人施行报应。

但你敌人的数量必多如灰尘，那些强暴者的数量也多如被吹散的糠秕，这必在顷刻之间，突然发生。

我要在他们中间施行神迹，从他们中间差遣所有逃脱的人到列国去，就是到他施、普勒、善于拉弓的路德、土巴和雅完，以及从未听过我的名声、从未见过我的荣耀的遥远众海岛；他们必把我的荣耀传扬在列国中。

这些人的后裔分散居住在沿海的土地和岛屿上。各人随着自己的方言、宗族，住在自己的国土中。

众海岛看见了，就都惧怕；地极也都战兢；他们都近前来。

对于他们，耶和华是可畏惧的，因为他要消灭地上一切神祇；那时，列国海岛上的居民，都各在自己的地方敬拜他。

后来他必转向沿海的岛屿，夺取了许多海岛。但有一个将领要制止他的骄横，并且使他的骄横归回他身上。
