For Sheol can’t praise you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can’t hope for your truth.

For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

People in the grave can’t praise you. Dead people can’t sing praise to you. Those who go down to the grave can’t hope for you to be faithful to them.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank you; Death cannot praise you. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.

For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?

“ What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.

The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that no one may cross over from there to us.’“ He said,‘ I ask you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house;for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, so they won’t also come into this place of torment.’“ But Abraham said to him,‘ They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.’“ He said,‘ No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’“ He said to him,‘ If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.’”

but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

The dead don’t praise Yah, neither any who go down into silence;but we will bless Yah, from this time forward and forever more. Praise Yah!

Do you show wonders to the dead? Do the departed spirits rise up and praise you? Selah.Is your loving kindness declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction?
