陰府死亡之輩、不能彰爾榮譽、臨墓入土之人、不得望爾踐言、

For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

People in the grave can’t praise you. Dead people can’t sing praise to you. Those who go down to the grave can’t hope for you to be faithful to them.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank you; Death cannot praise you. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

凡你手所當做的事，要盡力去做；因為在你所必須去的陰間沒有工作，沒有謀算，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

因為死了的人不會記念你，在陰間有誰稱謝你？

「我被害流血，下到地府，有何益處呢？塵土豈能稱謝你、傳揚你的信實嗎？

他們和一切屬他們的，都活活墜落陰間；地在他們上面又合攏起來，他們就從會眾中滅亡了。

惡人因所行的惡必被推倒；義人臨死，有所投靠。

這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要往永生裏去。」

除此之外，在你們和我們之間，有深淵隔開，以致人要從這邊過到你們那邊是不可能的；要從那邊過到這邊也是不可能的。』財主說：『我祖啊，既然這樣，求你打發拉撒路到我父家去，因為我還有五個兄弟，他可以警告他們，免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。』亞伯拉罕說：『他們有摩西和先知的話可以聽從。』他說：『不！我祖亞伯拉罕哪，假如有一個人從死人中到他們那裏去，他們一定會悔改。』亞伯拉罕對他說：『如果他們不聽從摩西和先知的話，就是有人從死人中復活，他們也不會信服的。』」

本國的子民反而被趕到外邊黑暗裏去，在那裏要哀哭切齒了。」

死人不能讚美耶和華，下到寂靜中的也都不能。但我們要稱頌耶和華，從今時直到永遠。哈利路亞！

你豈要行奇事給死人看嗎？陰魂還能起來稱謝你嗎？（細拉）你的慈愛豈能在墳墓裏被人述說嗎？你的信實豈能在冥府被人傳揚嗎？
