Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day[ even] to night wilt thou make an end of me.

我幕將撤、與我別離、如牧人之撒幕、我命將終、如織者織布已畢、絕之於機、將布捲之、在旦夕之間、主幾滅我、

Like a shepherd’s tent my house has been pulled down and taken from me. Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, and he has cut me off from the loom; day and night you made an end of me.

My body is like a shepherd’s tent. It has been pulled down and carried off. My life is like a piece of cloth that I’ve rolled up. You have cut it off from the loom. In a short period of time you have brought my life to an end.

My dwelling is plucked up and removed from me like a shepherd’s tent; like a weaver I have rolled up my life; he cuts me off from the loom; from day to night you bring me to an end;

My life has been blown away like a shepherd’s tent in a storm. It has been cut short, as when a weaver cuts cloth from a loom. Suddenly, my life was over.

Princes also did sit[ and] speak against me:[ but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!

He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting[ you] in remembrance;Knowing that shortly I must put off[ this] my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

For we that are in[ this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

My days[ are] like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

Whereas ye know not what[ shall be] on the morrow. For what[ is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope.O remember that my life[ is] wind: mine eye shall no more see good.

He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years[ are] throughout all generations.

And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding[ it].

My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves[ are ready] for me.

The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle[ that] hasteth to the prey.
