In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said,“ This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”

In those days Hezekiah became very sick. He knew he was about to die. Isaiah went to see him. Isaiah was the son of Amoz. Isaiah told Hezekiah,“ The Lord says,‘ Put everything in order. Make out your will. You are going to die soon. You will not get well again.’ ”

In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him,“ Yahweh says,‘ Set your house in order, for you will die, and not live.’”

神看到他们所行的——从邪恶的道路上转回了，神就施怜悯，没有降下原先所说的要降在他们身上的灾祸。

约拿开始进入那城，走了一天的路程，宣告说：“再过四十天，尼尼微就要覆灭了。”

就在那些日子里，她患病死了。人们清洗了遗体，就放在楼上的房间。

亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就派人到希西加那里，说：“以色列的神耶和华如此说：‘有关亚述王西纳基立的事，你既然向我祈求了，

于是先知以赛亚来到希西加王那里，问他：“那些人说了什么？他们是从哪里来见你的？”希西加回答：“他们是从遥远之地巴比伦来见我的。”以赛亚问：“在你的家中他们看了什么？”希西加回答：“我家中的所有东西，他们都看了；库房中的一切，我没有一样不给他们看。”

有一个叫拉撒路的病人，住在伯大尼，就是玛丽亚和她的姐姐玛妲住的村子。这玛丽亚就是用香液膏抹主，又用自己的头发擦他脚的那一个。是她的弟弟拉撒路患了病。姐妹俩派人到耶稣那里说：“主啊，你看，你所爱的人患了病。”耶稣听了就说：“这病不至于死，而是为了神的荣耀，好使神的儿子由此得荣耀。”耶稣一向爱玛妲和她的妹妹，以及拉撒路。

事实上，他虽然患了病几乎死去，可是神怜悯了他；不仅怜悯他，也怜悯了我，免得我忧上加忧。所以，我就更迫切地派他去，好让你们见到他，能够再次欢喜，而我也可以少些挂虑。因此，你们要在主里满怀喜乐地欢迎他，也要敬重这样的人，因为他为了基督的工作，几乎至死，冒了生命的危险，为要弥补你们服事我的缺乏。

凡是你手当做的，你都当极力去做；因为在你必去的阴间没有工作，没有筹划，没有知识，也没有智慧。

犹大王乌西雅、约坦、亚哈斯、希西加年间，亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚所看到的异象，是关于犹大和耶路撒冷的：

他派遣宫廷总管以利亚敬、书记舍伯纳和祭司中年长的，个个披上麻布，到亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚那里。
