城裏居民的力量甚小，他們驚惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，被東風颳散。

所以其中的居民力量甚小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。

城里居民的力量甚小，他们惊惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，被东风刮散。

城中的居民软弱无力，惊慌失措，羞愧难当，脆弱如野草和菜蔬，又像还未长大就被晒焦的房顶草。

因此，其中的居民软弱无力，惊惶羞愧，像田间的蔬菜和青绿的草，又像房顶上的草，还没有长起来，就干焦了。

那时城中的居民软弱无力，惊惶羞愧，像尚未长大就枯干的田间蔬草、青绿嫩草、屋顶上的草。

所以其中的居民力量甚小，驚惶羞愧。他們像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，又如田間未長成的禾稼。

城裏居民的力量甚小，他們驚惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，被東風颳散。

城中的居民軟弱無力，驚慌失措，羞愧難當，脆弱如野草和菜蔬，又像還未長大就被曬焦的房頂草。

因此，其中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間的蔬菜和青綠的草，又像房頂上的草，還沒有長起來，就乾焦了。

而其中的居民手力短缺，驚慌慚愧，像田間的菜蔬，像綠草之青青，如房頂上的草，被熱東風燒焦麼？

那時城中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間蔬草、青綠嫩草，像被東風吹焦的屋頂上的草。

故其居民力微、驚惶羞愧、如田草、如青蔬、如屋上之草、如未長之禾、

彼民荏弱、驚懼懷羞、如山野之蔬、屋上之草、未及其長、為風所暴、

故其中居民皆荏弱無力、驚惶羞愧、乃如田草、如青蔬、如屋上之草、如未成而槁之禾苗、

Their people, drained of power, are dismayed and put to shame. They are like plants in the field, like tender green shoots, like grass sprouting on the roof, scorched before it grows up.

Their people do not have any power left. They are troubled and put to shame. They are like plants in the field. They are like new green plants. They are like grass that grows on a roof. It dries up before it is completely grown.

while their inhabitants, shorn of strength, are dismayed and confounded, and have become like plants of the field and like tender grass, like grass on the housetops, blighted before it is grown.

That is why their people have so little power and are so frightened and confused. They are as weak as grass, as easily trampled as tender green shoots. They are like grass sprouting on a housetop, scorched before it can grow lush and tall.

Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants were powerless, They were shattered and put to shame; They were like the vegetation of the field and the green grass, Like grass on the housetops that is scorched before it has grown.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power; They were dismayed and confounded; They were as the grass of the field And the green herb, As the grass on the housetops And grain blighted before it is grown.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as a field of grain before it is grown up.

Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants[ were] of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were[ as] the grass of the field, and[ as] the green herb,[ as] the grass on the housetops, and[ as corn] blasted before it be grown up.

Their residents are powerless; they are terrified and ashamed. They are as short-lived as plants in the field or green vegetation. They are as short-lived as grass on the rooftops when it is scorched by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

願他們像房頂上的草，一發芽就枯乾，

你叫他們如水沖去，他們如睡一覺。早晨，他們如生長的草；早晨發芽生長，晚上割下枯乾。

到那日，埃及必像婦人一樣，因萬軍之耶和華揮手攻擊而戰兢懼怕。

你們即使擊敗與你們爭戰的迦勒底全軍，他們當中剩下受傷的人也必各自從帳棚裏起來，用火焚燒這城。』」

有聲音說：「你喊叫吧！」我說：「我喊叫甚麼呢？」凡有血肉之軀的盡都如草，他的一切榮美像野地的花。耶和華吹一口氣，草就枯乾，花也凋謝。百姓誠然是草；草必枯乾，花必凋謝，惟有我們神的話永遠立定。

至於世人，他的年日如草一樣。他興旺如野地的花，

城裏的居民力量微小，他們驚惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，又如未長成而枯乾的禾稼。

因為他們如草快被割下，又如綠色的嫩草快要枯乾。

因為「凡血肉之軀的盡都如草，他的一切榮美像草上的花；草必枯乾，花必凋謝，

富足的卻要因被降卑而誇耀，因為富足的人要消逝，如同草上的花一樣。太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，它美麗的樣子就消失了；那富足的人在他一生的奔波中也要這樣衰殘。

惡人雖茂盛如草，作惡的人雖全都興旺，他們卻要滅亡，直到永遠。

但你們不可背叛耶和華，也不要怕那地的百姓，因為他們是我們的食物。保護他們的已經離開他們，耶和華卻與我們同在。不要怕他們！」

你們要上去毀壞它的葡萄園，但不可毀壞淨盡，只可除掉其枝子，因為不屬耶和華。

若不是耶和華建造房屋，建造的人就枉然勞力；若不是耶和華看守城池，看守的人就枉然警醒。你們清晨早起，夜晚安歇，吃勞碌得來的飯，本是枉然；惟有耶和華所親愛的，必叫他安然睡覺。
