免得希西家教唆你們說：『永恆主一定會援救我們。』列國的神有哪一位曾援救過他的本地脫離亞述王的手呢？

爾其慎之、免受希西家之勸曰、耶和華必救我儕也、夫列邦之神、有一曾拯其國、脫於亞述王手乎、

希西家言、爾必見拯於耶和華、爾勿聽焉、四方民所事之上帝、豈得救其國、脫於亞述王手乎、

希西家誘爾曰、主必救我儕、爾勿聽之、列國之諸神、何嘗有神救其國、脫於亞述王之手、

“ Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says,‘ The Lord will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?

“‘ Don’t let Hezekiah fool you. He’s telling you a lie when he says,“ The Lord will save us.” Have the gods of any nations ever saved their lands from the power of the king of Assyria?

Beware lest Hezekiah mislead you by saying,“ The Lord will deliver us.” Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

“ Don’t let Hezekiah mislead you by saying,‘ The Lord will rescue us!’ Have the gods of any other nations ever saved their people from the king of Assyria?

Beware that Hezekiah does not mislead you by saying,‘ The LORD will rescue us.’ Has any one of the gods of the nations rescued his land from the power of the king of Assyria?

Beware that Hezekiah does not mislead you, saying,“ The Lord will save us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations saved his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying,“ The Lord will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria?

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, Jehovah will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Beware that Hezekiah does not mislead you by saying,‘ The Lord will deliver us.’ Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered his land from the power of the king of Assyria?

[ Beware] lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Hezekiah is misleading you when he says,“ The LORD will rescue us.” Has any of the gods of the nations rescued his land from the power of the king of Assyria?

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying,“ Yahweh will deliver us.” Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?

也不要讓希西加說服你們依靠耶和華，因為他會說：耶和華必定解救我們，這城必不落入亞述王手中。』

耶和華啊，求你側耳聽！耶和華啊，求你睜眼看！聽聽西納基立派人來辱罵永生神的一切話！耶和華啊，亞述列王確實使列國和它們的國土荒廢，

他們說：「我們要靠舌頭強盛，我們的嘴唇是自己的，誰是我們的主呢？」

我祖先所毀滅的，有歌撒、哈蘭和利色，還有在提拉撒的伊甸子孫，那些國的神明解救他們了嗎？哈馬的王、亞珥拔的王，拉伊珥、西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的眾王，如今都在哪裡呢？』」

耶和華啊，你的作為多麼偉大，你的意念極其深奧！愚拙人不明白，愚昧人不領悟：儘管惡人如牧草茂盛，所有做壞事的人都興旺，他們也要被永遠除滅。

現在，我上來攻打這地，要把它毀滅，難道不是出於耶和華嗎？是耶和華對我說『你要上去攻打這地，把它毀滅！』」

你也許會對我說『我們依靠耶和華我們的神』，但希西加除掉了這神的高所和祭壇，卻還對猶大和耶路撒冷的人說『你們當在這祭壇前敬拜！』難道耶和華不就是這神嗎？

是的，我知道耶和華偉大，我們的主超過一切神明。在諸天、在大地、在海洋和一切的深處，凡耶和華所願的，他都去行。

「你們要對猶大王希西加這樣說：『不要讓你所依靠的神欺哄你，說：耶路撒冷必不落入亞述王的手中。

現在，你們一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，如果準備向我所造的像俯伏膜拜，那就沒有事了；如果不膜拜，你們就立刻被扔進烈火燃燒的窯中。有什麼神能從我的手中拯救你們呢？」

列國為什麼要說：「他們的神在哪裡呢？」我們的神在天上，他所願的一切，他都去行。列國的偶像是銀的、金的，是人手所造的：它們有嘴卻不能說，有眼卻不能看；有耳卻不能聽，有鼻卻不能聞；有手卻不能摸，有腳卻不能走，也不能用喉嚨發出聲音。那些造它們的、所有依靠它們的，都會像它們那樣。

列國的偶像是銀的、金的，是人手所造的：它們有嘴卻不能說，有眼卻不能看；有耳卻不能聽，口中也沒有氣息；那些造它們的、所有依靠它們的，都會像它們那樣。
