Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria:‘ Make peace with me by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;

不要听希西迦的话。亚述王说，‘你们要跟我讲和，出来归顺我。这样，你们就可以吃自己葡萄树和无花果树的果子，喝自己井里的水。

不要听希西家的话，因为亚述王这样说：‘你们要与我和好（“与我和好”直译是“向我祝福问安”），出来向我投降，这样各人就可以吃自己葡萄树和无花果树的果子，也可以喝自己井里的水；

“你们不要听希西加的话，因为亚述王如此说：‘你们要与我和好，出来向我投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄树和无花果树的果子，喝自己水窖里的水；

不要聽希西家的話，因亞述王如此說：『你們要與我和好。出來投降我，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水。

你們不要聽希西家的話！因亞述王如此說：『你們要與我講和，出來投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水，

不要聽希西迦的話。亞述王說，『你們要跟我講和，出來歸順我。這樣，你們就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裡的水。

不要聽希西家的話，因為亞述王這樣說：‘你們要與我和好（“與我和好”直譯是“向我祝福問安”），出來向我投降，這樣各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，也可以喝自己井裡的水；

你們不要聽希西家的話；因為亞述王這麼說：「你們要向我祝福請安，出來投降我，各人就可以喫自己葡萄樹、自己無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水；

「你們不要聽希西加的話，因為亞述王如此說：『你們要與我和好，出來向我投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果實，喝自己水窖裡的水；

勿聽希西家、蓋亞述王曰、爾當與我修好、出而降我、則可各食己之葡萄、及無花果、各飲己井之水、

爾勿聽焉、蓋亞述王曰、爾當與我修和、歸誠於我、厥後可各食其葡萄、及無花果、各飲己井之水、

勿聽希西家之言、蓋亞述王如是云、爾當與我修好、出而降我、則爾可各食己葡萄樹及無花果樹之果、各飲己井之水、

“ Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then each of you will eat fruit from your own vine and fig tree and drink water from your own cistern,

“ Don’t listen to Hezekiah. The king of Assyria says,‘ Make a peace treaty with me. Come over to my side. Then each one of you will eat fruit from your own vine and fig tree. Each one of you will drink water from your own well.

Do not listen to Hezekiah. For thus says the king of Assyria: Make your peace with me and come out to me. Then each one of you will eat of his own vine, and each one of his own fig tree, and each one of you will drink the water of his own cistern,

“ Don’t listen to Hezekiah! These are the terms the king of Assyria is offering: Make peace with me— open the gates and come out. Then each of you can continue eating from your own grapevine and fig tree and drinking from your own well.

Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for this is what the king of Assyria says:“ Make peace with me and surrender to me. Then every one of you may eat from his own vine and his own fig tree and drink water from his own cistern

Do not listen to Hezekiah,’ for this is what the king of Assyria says:‘ Surrender to me and come out to me, and eat, each one, of his vine and each of his fig tree, and each drink of the waters of his own cistern,

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig- tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;

Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for this is what the king of Assyria says:“ Make peace with me and surrender to me. Then every one of you may eat from his own vine and his own fig tree and drink water from his own cistern

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make[ an agreement] with me[ by] a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;

Don’t listen to Hezekiah!’ For this is what the king of Assyria says,‘ Send me a token of your submission and surrender to me. Then each of you may eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern,

Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for the king of Assyria says,‘ Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and each of you eat from his vine, and each one from his fig tree, and each one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,‘ Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.’”

But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.

Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria:‘ Make peace with me by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;

Then the elders of Jabesh said to him,“ Hold off for seven days, that we may send messengers to all the territory of Israel. And then, if there is no one to save us, we will come out to you.”

Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his aides, and came and stood before him; and he said,“ Indeed, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.”

and also say,‘ Behold, your servant Jacob is behind us.’” For he said,“ I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face; perhaps he will accept me.”

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought tribute. So the Lord preserved David wherever he went.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation.

Please, take my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” So he urged him, and he took it.

Then Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his servants, his princes, and his officers went out to the king of Babylon; and the king of Babylon, in the eighth year of his reign, took him prisoner.And he carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, and he cut in pieces all the articles of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.Also he carried into captivity all Jerusalem: all the captains and all the mighty men of valor, ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths. None remained except the poorest people of the land.And he carried Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the mighty of the land he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.All the valiant men, seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths, one thousand, all who were strong and fit for war, these the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

And now this present which your maidservant has brought to my Lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my Lord.
