Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will stink; the mountains will be soaked with their blood.

Those who are killed won’t be buried. Their dead bodies will be thrown on the ground. They will stink. Their blood will cover the mountains.

“ Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out my rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals.

I will put your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your maggot-infested carcass.I will drench the land with the flow of your blood up to the mountains, and the ravines will be full of your blood.

“ I sent against you a plague like one of the Egyptian plagues. I killed your young men with the sword, along with the horses you had captured. I made the stench from the corpses rise up into your nostrils. Still you did not come back to me.” The LORD is speaking!

“‘ On that day I will assign Gog a grave in Israel. It will be the valley of those who travel east of the sea; it will block the way of the travelers. There they will bury Gog and all his horde; they will call it the valley of Hamon-Gog.

But when they went to bury her, they found nothing left but the skull, feet, and palms of the hands.When they went back and told him, he said,“ The LORD’s word through his servant, Elijah the Tishbite, has come to pass. He warned,‘ In the plot of land at Jezreel, dogs will devour Jezebel’s flesh.Jezebel’s corpse will be like manure on the surface of the ground in the plot of land at Jezreel. People will not be able to even recognize her.’”

Then the winepress was stomped outside the city, and blood poured out of the winepress up to the height of horses’ bridles for a distance of almost two hundred miles.

The LORD says,“ When that time comes, the bones of the kings of Judah and its leaders, the bones of the priests and prophets and of all the other people who lived in Jerusalem will be dug up from their graves.They will be spread out and exposed to the sun, the moon and the stars. These are things they adored and served, things to which they paid allegiance, from which they sought guidance, and worshiped. The bones of these people will never be regathered and reburied. They will be like manure used to fertilize the ground.

Next, the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood.

He will be left unburied just like a dead donkey. His body will be dragged off and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem.’”

Therefore, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, I will subject you to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.

I will judge him with plague and bloodshed. I will rain down on him, his troops and the many peoples who are with him a torrential downpour, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

But you have been thrown out of your grave like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain, among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the pit, as if you were a mangled corpse.You will not be buried with them, because you destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again.
