我必再領以色列回他草場；他必在迦密和巴珊喫草，又在以法蓮山地和基列境內喫得心滿意足。

破毁接着破毁；因為全國盡都毁壞；我的帳棚忽然毁壞，我的幔子一眨眼間就破裂。我看旌旗、要到幾時呢？我聽號角聲、要到多久呢？『因為我的人民愚妄，連我、他們也不認識；愚頑的兒女啊、他們！無知啊、他們！他們有智巧去作壞事，要怎樣行善、卻不曉得。』我觀看大地，啊，地沒有定形，混混沌沌；我觀看天，天呢、沒有光。我觀看山嶺，啊，山嶺全都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，啊，沒有人；空中的飛鳥也都逃掉。我觀看，啊，園地竟變為曠野；一切城市、在永恆主面前、因他的烈怒、都被拆毁。

利巴嫩哪，開門哦，任火燒滅你的香柏樹哦！松樹啊，哀號哦！因為香柏樹倒下來了，壯麗的全毁啦！巴珊的橡樹啊，哀號哦！因為茂密樹林倒下來了！聽啊，有牧民者的哀號聲呢！因為他們的壯麗全毁啦！聽啊，有少壯獅子的吼叫聲呢！因為約但河旁的叢林全毁啦！

那時我們攻取了他所有的城市；在巴珊之噩的國、亞珥歌伯全區、共有六十座城，沒有一座城我們不奪取來的。

大地悲哀凋殘，世界衰敗凋殘，高天與大地一同衰敗。大地在它居民之下被沾污，因為他們越犯了律法，違背了律例，違犯了永遠的約。因此大地被咒詛所吞滅，上頭的居民擔受了罪罰；因此地上的居民被燒焦，剩下的人很少。
