約沙法率眾、得貨財、寶物甚多、剝尸又得財物、不能攜負、因貨財之多、三日取之、猶不盡。

故棄錨於海、鬆舵纜、揚帆望岸而進、遇二水夾流處、擱舟於上、舟首膠定不動、舟尾因巨浪而破、

爾之舟師、陷爾於難、東風狂暴、毀爾於海中。爾傾圮之日、則平日之蓄積、市廛之貨財、掌舵者、辨水道者、彌舟隙者、商賈武士、及爾中居民、俱溺於海、辨水道之人、大聲號呼、震動邑郊。凡撥櫂者、駕舟者、辨水道者、必棄舟登岸、無不痛哭、其聲甚慘、蒙灰於首、坐於塗炭。盡薙厥髮、束麻於身、緣爾困苦、其聲甚哀、哭時必作哀歌、曰、推羅傾圮矣、昔居海中、無所比儗、爾之貨財饒足、自海而至、天下君民、獲富者甚眾、遇海水汎濫、淹爾於波濤、其時爾邑傾圮、居民殞亡、

又明日共擲舟器、

大闢從者、中有匪徒、曰、彼不與我偕、所得之物勿予、第其妻孥可攜而去。大闢曰、兄弟乎、耶和華既輔翼於我、以敵軍付於我手、故所得之物、勿若是以行。爾所欲為、不見許於人。衝鋒鏑者、與守什物者、所得維均。
