Your rigging hangs loose: The mast is not held secure, the sail is not spread. Then an abundance of spoils will be divided and even the lame will carry off plunder.

The ropes on your ship hang loose. The mast isn’t very secure. The sail isn’t spread out. But the Lord will strike down the Assyrians. Then a large amount of goods will be taken from them and divided up. Even people who are disabled will carry off some of it.

Your cords hang loose; they cannot hold the mast firm in its place or keep the sail spread out. Then prey and spoil in abundance will be divided; even the lame will take the prey.

這些患痲風病的人來到軍營的外邊，他們進入其中一座帳幕，又吃又喝，並且從那裡取去金子、銀子和衣服，然後離去，把東西收藏起來。他們再回去，進入另一座帳幕，從那裡拿走財物，去收藏起來。

但是神卻揀選了世上愚笨的，使那些有智慧的羞愧。他也揀選了世上軟弱的，使那些剛強的羞愧。

“帶領大軍的君王都逃跑了，逃跑了；住在家中的婦女分得了戰利品。

在那裡，威嚴的耶和華必作我們江河寬渠溢流之地。必沒有盪槳搖櫓的船隻能在其上往來，威武的戰船也不能經過。

列國啊！你們所擄掠的必被收取，像螞蚱收取禾稼一樣；蝗蟲怎樣為食物忙碌走動，人也怎樣在擄物上忙亂。

你這毀滅人，自己卻不被毀滅的；你這行事詭詐，別人倒不以詭詐待你的，有禍了！你剛停止毀滅人的時候，自己就要被毀滅；你剛停止行詭詐的時候，別人就必以詭詐待你。

水手們想要離船逃走，就把救生艇放在海上，假裝要從船頭拋錨的樣子。保羅對百夫長和士兵說：“這些人若不留在船上，你們就性命難保！”於是士兵砍斷救生艇的繩子，任它掉下去。

有二百人太疲乏，不能渡過比梭溪，就留在那裡，大衛和四百人繼續追趕。

眾民就出去，搶掠亞蘭人的軍營。於是三公斤麵粉賣十一克銀子，六公斤大麥也賣十一克銀子，好像耶和華所說的。

約沙法和他的人民就來掠奪敵人的財物，在屍首中見許多財物、衣服和珍寶。他們剝脫下來據為己有的，多得不能攜帶；因為掠物甚多，所以掠奪了三天。

於是把錨砍掉，丟在海裡，同時又鬆開舵繩，拉起前帆，順風向岸駛去。但在海水夾流的地方，船就擱了淺，船頭膠著不動，船尾被海浪沖擊，就損壞了。

給你蕩槳的已經把你蕩到水深之處；東風在海的中心把你吹破。你的財富、貨物、商品、水手、舵手、修補裂縫的、與你進行貿易的，在你那裡所有的戰士，並在你中間所有聚集的人、在你傾覆的日子，都必在海的中心沉下去。因你舵手的呼叫聲，郊野都必震動。所有蕩槳的、水手和航海的舵手，都必離開他們的船隻，站在陸上。他們必為你放聲痛哭，把塵土撒在自己的頭上，在灰中打滾。他們必因你把頭剃光，腰束麻布，為你痛心哭泣，苦苦悲哀。他們為你哀悼的時候，必為你作一首哀歌：有哪一座城，像在海中沉寂的推羅呢？你的貨物從海上運出去的時候，曾使多國的人飽足；因你豐富的財物和商品，你使地上的君王都富裕。如今你在深水的地方，被海水沖破；你的商品和所有在你那裡聚集的人，都沉下去了。

第三天又親手把船上的用具扔掉。

與大衛一起去的那些人中，有些惡人和流氓說：“他們沒有和我們一起去，我們就不把奪回來的戰利品分給他們，只把他們各人的妻子和兒子還給他們，讓他們領回去就是了。”大衛說：“兄弟們，耶和華賜給我們的，你們不可以這樣作。他保護了我們，又把那些攻擊我們的匪徒交在我們手裡。這事誰要聽從你們呢？下戰場的得多少，留守武器的也得多少，應當大家平分。”
