祸哉！你这毁灭人的，自己倒不被毁灭；行事诡诈的，人倒不以诡诈待你。你毁灭罢休了，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭而毁灭人的人，人未以诡诈待你而你以诡诈待人的人！等你行完了毁灭，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭而毁灭人的人，人未以诡诈待你而你以诡诈待人的人！等你行完了毁灭，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

你们这些毁灭别人、自己还未被毁灭的人有祸了！等你们毁灭完了，就毁灭你们。你们这些欺诈别人、自己还未被欺诈的人有祸了！等你们欺诈完了，就欺诈你们。

你这毁灭人，自己却不被毁灭的；你这行事诡诈，别人倒不以诡诈待你的，有祸了！你刚停止毁灭人的时候，自己就要被毁灭；你刚停止行诡诈的时候，别人就必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭的毁灭者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毁灭，自己必遭毁灭；你做尽了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

禍哉！你這毀滅人的，自己倒不被毀滅；行事詭詐的，人倒不以詭詐待你。你毀滅罷休了，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅而毀滅人的人，人未以詭詐待你而你以詭詐待人的人！等你行完了毀滅，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅而毀滅人的人，人未以詭詐待你而你以詭詐待人的人！等你行完了毀滅，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

你們這些毀滅別人、自己還未被毀滅的人有禍了！等你們毀滅完了，就毀滅你們。你們這些欺詐別人、自己還未被欺詐的人有禍了！等你們欺詐完了，就欺詐你們。

你這毀滅人，自己卻不被毀滅的；你這行事詭詐，別人倒不以詭詐待你的，有禍了！你剛停止毀滅人的時候，自己就要被毀滅；你剛停止行詭詐的時候，別人就必以詭詐待你。

有禍啊！你這毁滅人者、而自己倒不被毁滅的！你這行詭詐者、而人倒不以詭詐待你的！你剛停止了毁滅人，你自己就要被毁滅了；你剛行完了詭詐，人就以詭詐待你了。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅的毀滅者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毀滅，自己必遭毀滅；你做盡了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

未被虐而虐人、未被欺而欺人、禍哉其人、爾虐人甫畢、則被虐、爾欺人甫畢、則被欺、

人不虐爾、而爾虐人、人不誣爾、而爾誣人、禍將及矣、爾以誣虐施諸人、則人待爾亦若是、

Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed! Woe to you, betrayer, you who have not been betrayed! When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed; when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.

How terrible it will be for you, you who destroy others! Assyria, you haven’t been destroyed yet. How terrible for you, you who turn against others! Others haven’t turned against you yet. When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed. When you stop turning against others, others will turn against you.

Ah, you destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed, you traitor, whom none has betrayed! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

What sorrow awaits you Assyrians, who have destroyed others but have never been destroyed yourselves. You betray others, but you have never been betrayed. When you are done destroying, you will be destroyed. When you are done betraying, you will be betrayed.

Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

Woe to you, destroyer, While you were not destroyed; And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him. As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you.

Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered; And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you! When you cease plundering, You will be plundered; When you make an end of dealing treacherously, They will deal treacherously with you.

Woe to thee that destroyest, and thou wast not destroyed; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou hast ceased to destroy, thou shalt be destroyed; and when thou hast made an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou[ wast] not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled;[ and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

The destroyer is as good as dead, you who have not been destroyed! The deceitful one is as good as dead, the one whom others have not deceived! When you are through destroying, you will be destroyed; when you finish deceiving, others will deceive you!

Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.

爾以何量量諸人、人亦以何量量諸爾、

我得關係重災之默示、欺者行其欺、虐者行其虐、以攔歟、爾當往、瑪代歟、爾當圍困、主云、凡其一切嗟歎、我皆使之止息、

自地之極、我儕聞謳歌之聲云、尊榮歸於義者、我曰、我受禍、我受禍、哀哉、詭譎者仍行詭譎、詭譎者大行詭譎、

主曰、迨我在郇山、在耶路撒冷畢我之事、則必懲罰亞述王心之驕傲、及其目之仰視、

暮時忽遭惶恐、忽遭惶恐或作忽遭毀滅未及清晨、已歸烏有、此即擄我者所得之分、分或作報刼我者所獲之報、報或作罪

七十年之期既畢、我降罰於巴比倫王與迦勒底民、治其罪戾、使迦勒底土地永為荒蕪、此乃主所言、昔耶利米以列國之事預言、錄於斯書、中有我降災迦勒底地之言、此言我必使有效驗於其國、或作凡我指迦勒底地而言者我必使應驗於其國耶利米指列國述預言記在此書之言必皆應驗眾多之邦國、強大之君王、必使迦勒底人為其服役、我必循其所行、視其手所作、而加以報施、

亞多尼比色曰、昔有七十王、手足大指、為我所斷、原文作昔有七十王斷手足大指者拾食物於我案下、今天主循我所行、報施於我、乃攜至耶路撒冷而死於彼、

凡擄人者亦見擄、以刃殺人者亦被刃殺、聖徒之恆忍與信在此矣、○

爾所見之十角、乃十王、尚未得國、惟片時偕獸秉權如王、彼皆同心、以己之權與能給獸、彼遂與羔戰、羔必勝之、因羔乃萬主之主、萬王之王、從之者、皆見召蒙選忠信之人、

因爾向爾弟雅各行強暴、必受辱蒙羞、被翦絕至永遠、當日爾見外邦之人、掠其貨財、掠其貨財或作擄其軍旅異族之人、入其邑門、為耶路撒冷掣籤、爾立於旁、爾若敵中之一、爾弟遇害之日、爾不當旁觀、猶大族喪敗之日、爾不當欣喜、彼遭難之日、爾不當口出傲慢之言、我民遭禍之日、爾不當入其邑門、彼遭禍之日、爾不當旁立、觀其受苦、彼遭禍之日、爾不當伸手、攘其貨財、爾不當立於歧途、歧途或作隘口絕絕或作殺其逃脫者、彼遭難之日、爾不當將其遺民付於敵手、主罰異邦、其日伊邇、循爾所行、人亦將行於爾、爾應得之報、必臨於爾身、身原文作首爾曹猶大人在我聖山、已飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必恆飲、且飲且吸、歸於烏有、若原未有、

希西家王十四年、亞述王西拿基立上、攻猶大一切鞏固之城而取之、猶大王希西家遣人往拉吉、見亞述王曰、我知罪矣、求王離我國、凡王罰我者、我必當之、亞述王罰猶大王希西家銀二百他連得、金二十他連得、他連得見十五章十九節小註希西家遂以主殿與王宮之府庫所有之銀、悉饋亞述王、當時猶大王希西家將主殿門扉之金、與己所蔽於殿柱之金、悉剝而取之、饋亞述王、亞述王遣他坦、拉伯撒利、拉伯沙基、統率大軍、自拉吉往耶路撒冷攻希西家王、既至耶路撒冷、立於上池之引水溝旁、此上池在漂工漂工或作濯衣田之道側、

主之使者出、在亞述營中殺十八萬五千人、蚤起視之、惟屍而已、亞述王西拿基立遂返、居於尼尼微、一日崇拜於其神尼斯洛殿、其子亞得米勒與沙利色、以刃弒之、乃遁於亞拉臘地、其子以撒哈頓繼之為王、

當時亞哈斯王遣使、求助於亞述王、蓋以東人復來攻猶大、擄其人、非利士人侵猶大窪地、及南方城邑、取伯示麥、雅耶倫、基底落、梭哥與其鄉里、亭納與其鄉里、瑾瑣與其鄉里、擄而居之、緣以色列王亞哈斯使猶大民縱恣、大干主怒、故主使猶大國卑微、亞述王提革拉毘尼色既至、不助之、反加以困迫、亞哈斯雖以主殿王宮大夫家之物、賄亞述王、彼仍不助之、

惟彼敵人、貪酒作孽、驕傲不安、放縱情慾、永不知足、猶如示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓彷彿死地、並吞列邦、使諸邦國、歸其統轄、並吞列邦使諸邦國歸其統轄原文作聚列邦集諸國歸於己斯眾必作嘲笑之歌以譏之、出諷刺之言以誚之、曰、禍哉爾歟、聚斂不屬己之財、何時為止、誠為己積累重大之孽債、困困原文作噬爾者突起、逐逐或作撼爾者忽醒、攘奪爾之所有、因爾劫掠多國、殺人流血、在國中、在邑中、行強暴、虐遇居民、故所餘之列國、亦將劫掠爾、

世人流聖徒及先知之血、今主以血予之飲、彼受此報、宜也、

亞述人必受禍、我怒如梃、我忿猶杖、為其手所執、我遣之攻邪惡之國、命之罰我所怒之民、擄掠攘奪、蹂躪人民、若街衢之泥然、

主之日將至、爾之貨財、貨財或作掠物必分於爾中、我將和會萬邦、萬邦或作萬族來攻耶路撒冷、城必陷、宅第被刼奪、婦女被玷污、邑民之半被擄掠、其餘之民、仍存邑中、仍存邑中原文作不致見絕於邑厥後主將出、攻此列邦、列邦或作異邦人與昔戰爭之日攻敵無異、或作厥後主必出與此列邦戰爭與昔臨陣之日戰爭無異

蓋天主感彼眾之心、以成厥旨、使彼眾同心、將己之國給獸、以待天主之言應焉、
