Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel,“ Because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and rely on them,

因此，以色列的圣者说，‘因为你们藐视我的话，依仗欺压之能和诡诈之术，

因此，以色列的圣者这样说：“因为你们弃绝了这话，反而信赖欺压和乖僻的手段，更以此为倚靠，

因此，以色列的圣者如此说：“因为你们厌弃了这话，依靠欺压和邪僻，以它们为依赖；

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：因為你們藐視這訓誨的話，倚賴欺壓和乖僻，以此為可靠的，

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：「因你們藐視這話，倚賴欺壓和詭詐，以此為可靠，

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：「因你們藐視這話，倚賴欺壓和詭詐，以此為可靠，

因此，以色列的聖者說，『因為你們藐視我的話，依仗欺壓之能和詭詐之術，

因此，以色列的聖者這樣說：“因為你們棄絕了這話，反而信賴欺壓和乖僻的手段，更以此為倚靠，

因此以色列之聖者這麼說：『你們棄絕了這話語，而倚賴欺壓和乖僻，去依靠它，

因此，以色列的聖者如此說：「因為你們厭棄了這話，依靠欺壓和邪僻，以它們為依賴；

故以色列之聖者曰、爾輕視斯言、惟暴虐乖戾是恃、

故以色列族之聖主告爾曰、爾棄斯道、強暴妄作、以此自恃。

故以色列聖主如是云、爾棄此命、恃強暴、賴偽妄、偽妄或作奸惡之事

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit,

So the Holy One of Israel speaks. He says,“ You have turned your backs on what I have said. You have depended on telling people lies. You have crushed others.

This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel:“ Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in oppression and lies,

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them,

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and crookedness, and have relied on them,

Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:“ Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them,

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely thereon;

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them,

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

For this reason this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ You have rejected this message; you trust instead in your ability to oppress and trick, and rely on that kind of behavior.

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says,“ Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on it,

Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom go up like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, and have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

You felt secure in your wickedness; you said,“ No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart,“ I am, and there is no one besides me.”

For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel,“ In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling,and you said,“ No! We will flee upon horses”; therefore you shall flee away; and,“ We will ride upon swift steeds”; therefore your pursuers shall be swift.A thousand shall flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you shall flee, till you are left like a flagstaff on the top of a mountain, like a signal on a hill.

Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

Egypt’s help is worthless and empty; therefore I have called her“ Rahab who sits still.”

This is your lot, the portion I have measured out to you, declares the Lord, because you have forgotten me and trusted in lies.

“ Ah, stubborn children,” declares the Lord,“ who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

Because you have said,“ We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement, when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter”;

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord!And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of the Lord, and have not kept his statutes, but their lies have led them astray, those after which their fathers walked.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’

“ See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!”

Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

“ The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry!
