Then the hordes of all the nations that fight against Ariel, that attack her and her fortress and besiege her, will be as it is with a dream, with a vision in the night—

他如梦消逝，踪影杳然；如夜间的异象，飞逝而去。

现在许多国家一起来攻击你们，说：“愿锡安遭蹂躏，我们要看着锡安被毁灭。”他们却不知道耶和华的心意，也不明白祂的计划。祂聚集他们是要惩罚他们，像把禾捆堆积在麦场一样。

到那天，我必毁灭前来攻击耶路撒冷的列国。

耶和华必降瘟疫给攻打耶路撒冷的列邦，使他们活着的时候皮肉已经腐烂，眼睛在眼眶中腐烂，舌头在口中腐烂。到那天，耶和华必使他们慌乱不堪，彼此揪住，互相殴打。犹大也必在耶路撒冷争战，四围列国的财物——大量的金银和衣服必被收聚起来。同样的瘟疫也必降在马匹、骡子、骆驼、驴和营中的其他牲畜身上。

他们晚上令人恐惧，早晨已无影无踪。这就是掳掠我们之人的下场，抢夺我们之人的报应。

“看啊，向你发怒的人必抱愧蒙羞；与你为敌的人都要灭亡，归于无有。你寻找与你相争的人，却找不到；与你争战的人必归于无有。

海水涨溢，汹涌的波涛淹没了巴比伦。她的城邑沦为干旱的荒漠，杳无人迹。我要惩罚巴比伦的神明彼勒，使他吐出所吞噬的。巴比伦的城墙要倒塌，万国必不再涌向她。

耶和华不轻易发怒，有伟大的能力。耶和华断不以有罪的为无罪。祂行走在旋风和暴风中，云彩是祂脚下的尘土。祂斥责大海，使大海干涸；祂使一切河流枯竭。巴珊和迦密的草木凋零，黎巴嫩的鲜花衰残。在祂面前，群山震动，丘陵消融。在祂面前，大地隆起，世界和世上的一切都战栗。祂发怒，谁能站立？祂发烈怒，谁能承受？祂的愤怒如火焰喷涌而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。耶和华是良善的，是人患难时的避难所；祂看顾那些信靠祂的人。祂必用滔滔洪水灭绝祂的敌人，把他们驱逐到黑暗中。尼尼微人啊，你们为何图谋抵挡耶和华？祂要彻底毁灭你们，无需击打两次。你们像纠结的荆棘，又像酩酊大醉的人，要如干秸被火烧尽。你们当中有一个人，一个邪恶的阴谋者，图谋抵挡耶和华。耶和华说：“尽管尼尼微势力强大、人口众多，但必被铲除，化为乌有。我的子民啊，我使你们受了苦，但必不再使你们受苦。

耶和华的声音传到地极，因为祂要指控列国，审判万民，使恶人丧身刀下。这是耶和华说的。’”万军之耶和华说：“看啊，灾难正蔓延到列国，有暴风从地极卷起。”到那日，遍地都是被耶和华杀戮的人，无人哀悼、收殓和埋葬，他们好像地上的粪便。

于是，耶和华的天使到亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。人们清早起来，发现到处是尸体。

看啊，耶和华的日子快到了，那时你那里的财物必被抢掠、瓜分。因为我必招聚万国去攻打耶路撒冷。那时，城必失守，房屋必被洗劫，妇女必被玷污。半城的人必被掳去，剩下的人必留在城中，不会被铲除。那时，耶和华必出来与列国争战，像从前争战的日子一样。
