Grain must be ground to make bread; so one does not go on threshing it forever. The wheels of a threshing cart may be rolled over it, but one does not use horses to grind grain.

耶穌回答說：「那撒好種子的是人子。田地是這世界，這些好種子就是天國的兒女，稗子是那惡者的兒女，撒稗子的仇敵是魔鬼，收割的季節是世代的終結，收割的人是天使。就像稗子被拔出來用火燒掉，在這世代的終結也將是這樣。人子要差派他的天使們，從他的國度裡挑出來所有絆腳的和作惡的，把他們丟進火爐裡。在那裡將有哀哭和切齒。那時，義人會在他們父的國度裡像太陽一樣發光。凡是有耳的，就應當聽！

事實上，摩西的律法上記著：「牛踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」難道神顧念的是牛嗎？還是特別為我們說的呢？這樣寫下來，當然是為我們的緣故！因為耕田的應該懷著希望去耕田，打場的應該懷著一同分享糧食的希望去打場。

我確確實實地告訴你們：一粒麥子如果不落在地裡死去，它仍然是一粒；如果死了，就結出很多子粒來。

他手裡拿著揚穀的杴，要揚淨他的打穀場，把他的麥子收進倉庫，卻把糠秕用不滅的火燒掉。」

實際上，我們是神的同工；你們是神的田地，是神的建築物。

那被脫打的、在打穀場上的我的子民哪！我從萬軍之耶和華以色列的神所聽見的，都告訴你們了。
