Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

Your covenant with death will be called off. The agreement you made with the place of the dead will not stand. When the terrible plague comes to punish you, you will be struck down by it.

因为你们曾说：“我们与死亡立了约，与阴间结了盟；刑罚的鞭子扫过的时候，必不会碰到我们，因为我们以谎言作遮蔽，以虚假作庇护。”

因此，主耶和华这样说：“这计谋必立不住，也不能成就，

你们尽管计划阴谋吧，这些终必失败；你们尽管提议吧，这些终必不能成立，因为神与我们同在。

以法莲的醉汉所戴的高傲冠冕，必被践踏在脚下。

攻击每一个高台，和每一道坚固的城墙；

六十二个七以后，受膏者必被剪除，一无所有（“一无所有”或译：“不再存在”）；那将要来的领袖的人民必毁灭这城和圣所。结局必像洪水而来；必有争战直到末了；荒凉的事已经定了。一七之内，他必和许多人坚立盟约；一七之半，他必使献祭和供物终止；他必在殿里（“殿里”原文作“翼上”）；设立那使地荒凉的可憎的像（“可憎的像”原文是复数），直到指定的结局倾倒在那造成荒凉的人身上。”

天使又对我说：“你所看见那淫妇坐着的众水，就是多种民族、群众、邦国，方言的人。

从这四个角中的一个角，又长出一个小角来，这小角向南、向东和向荣美之地，不断强大起来。它渐渐长大，高及天象，把一些天象和星星摔落在地上，用脚践踏。它狂妄自大，要高及天象之君；它除掉献给天象之君的常献祭，又拆毁他的圣所。因罪过的缘故，圣民（“圣民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一个字）连同常献的祭都交给它；它把真理丢在地上，任意而行，凡事顺利。我听见一位圣者在说话，又有一位圣者问他：“这个关于除掉常献的祭，和引致毁坏的罪过，以及践踏圣所和圣民（“圣民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一个字）的异象，要到几时呢？”

然后必冲入犹大，涨溢泛滥，直到颈项，以马内利啊！它展开的翅膀必遮遍你广阔的地土。”

万军之耶和华说：“看哪！那日来到，像烧着的火炉一样；骄傲的和作恶的，都必成为碎秸；那要来的日子，必把他们烧尽，不给他们留下一根一枝。可是，对你们敬畏我名的人，必有公义的太阳升起来；它的光线有医治的功能；你们必出来跳跃，像栏里的肥牛犊。”万军之耶和华说：“你们必践踏恶人；在我施行作为的日子，他们必在你们脚掌之下成为尘土。

耶和华这样说：“看哪！有水从北方涨起，成为一股泛滥的洪流，淹没大地和地上的一切，淹没城镇和住在城中的居民。人必呼喊，地上所有的居民必哀号。

然而我吩咐我的仆人众先知的话与条例，不是已报应在你们的列祖身上吗？所以他们就回转，说：万军之耶和华定意按着我们所作所行的对付我们，他已经这样行了。’”

可是这人背叛了巴比伦王，差遣使者到埃及去，要得战马和大军。他能亨通吗？行这样事的人，怎能逃脱呢？他破坏条约，怎能逃脱呢？

“到了末期，南方王要和他交战；北方王必带着战车、骑兵和大批战船，像暴风一般来到他那里；他必侵入列国，如洪水泛滥，横扫而过。

蛇在妇人后面，从口中吐出水来，好像江河一样，要把妇人冲去。

那些逃脱刀剑的，必从埃及地返回犹大地；他们人数很少。这样，所有去埃及地在那里寄居的犹大余剩的人，就知道谁的话实现：我的，还是他们的。
