雅各之愆得宥、其罪見除之果、在於使壇石糜爛如灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing.

The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either.

Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

The Lord did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

Therefore through this Jacob’s wrongdoing will be forgiven; And this will be the full price of the pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When Asherim and incense altars will not stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this[ is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.

耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把那些銅運到巴比倫去。他們又帶走鍋、鏟子、鉗子、勺子和供奉用的一切銅器；火盆和碗，無論金的銀的，護衛長都帶走了；還有所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根柱子、一個銅海和盆座，這一切器皿的銅多得無法可秤。這一根柱子高十八肘，柱上有銅頂，銅頂高三肘；銅頂的周圍有網子和石榴，也都是銅的。第二根柱子與此相同，也有網子。

萬軍之耶和華說：「在那日，我要從地上除滅偶像的名，使它不再被記得；我也必使這地不再有先知，不再有污穢的靈。

以法蓮說：「我與偶像有何相干？」我應允他，顧念他：我如青翠的松樹，你的果實從我而來。

他焚燒了耶和華的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷一切的房屋；用火焚燒所有大戶人家的房屋。

你要把空鍋放在炭火上，將鍋燒熱，把銅燒紅，鎔化其中的污穢，除淨其上的銹。然而這一切勞碌無效，它厚厚的銹，即使用火也除不掉。雖然我想潔淨你污穢的淫行，你卻不潔淨，你的污穢再也不能潔淨，直等我止息了向你發的憤怒。我－耶和華說了這話，時候到了，就必成就；必不退縮，不顧惜，也不憐憫。人必照你的所作所為審判你。這是主耶和華說的。」

眾人在他面前拆毀諸巴力的壇，砍斷壇上高高的香壇，又把亞舍拉和雕刻的像，以及鑄造的像打碎成灰，撒在向偶像獻祭之人的墳上，

他來的日子，誰能當得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰能立得住呢？因為他如煉金匠的火，如漂洗者的鹼。他必坐下如煉淨銀子的人，必潔淨利未人，熬煉他們像金銀一樣；他們就憑公義獻供物給耶和華。

約薩達的兒子耶書亞和他的弟兄眾祭司，以及撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和他的弟兄，都起來建築以色列神的壇，要照神人摩西律法書上所寫的，在壇上獻燔祭。他們在原有的根基上築壇，因為他們懼怕鄰邦民族，又在其上向耶和華早晚獻燔祭，

那等人必因所喜愛的聖樹抱愧；你們必因所選擇的園子蒙羞，

我受苦是與我有益，為要使我學習你的律例。

再者，我們曾有肉身之父管教我們，我們尚且敬重他，何況靈性之父，我們豈不更當順服他而得生命嗎？肉身之父都是短時間隨己意管教我們，惟有靈性之父管教我們是要我們得益處，使我們在他的聖潔上有份。凡管教的事，當時不覺得快樂，反覺得痛苦；後來卻為那經過鍛鍊的人結出平安的果子，就是義的果子。

你要拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的柱像，砍斷他們的亞舍拉。

他們到了那裏，必從其中除掉一切可憎之物、可厭的事。

鞭傷除淨邪惡，責打可潔淨人心深處。

我未受苦以先曾經迷失，現在卻遵守你的話。

因為主所愛的，他必管教，又鞭打他所接納的每一個孩子。」

我必從你們中間除盡叛逆和得罪我的人；我將他們從所寄居的地方領出來，他們卻不得進入以色列地，你們就知道我是耶和華。

迦勒底人焚燒了神的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裏所有的宮殿，毀壞了城裏一切寶貴的器皿。

因此，主－萬軍之耶和華、以色列的大能者說：「唉！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的敵人報仇。我必反手對付你，如鹼煉淨你的渣滓，除盡你的雜質。

我們受審判的時候，就是被主管教，這樣就免得和世人一同被定罪。
