When its twigs are dry, they are broken off and women come and make fires with them. For this is a people without understanding; so their Maker has no compassion on them, and their Creator shows them no favor.

When their twigs are dry, they will be broken off. Then women will come and make fires with them. The people of Jacob don’t understand the Lord. So the God who made them won’t be concerned about them. Their Creator won’t be kind to them.

When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without discernment; therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them; he who formed them will show them no favor.

The people are like the dead branches of a tree, broken off and used for kindling beneath the cooking pots. Israel is a foolish and stupid nation, for its people have turned away from God. Therefore, the one who made them will show them no pity or mercy.

When its branches dry out, they will be broken off. Women will come and make fires with them, for they are not a people with understanding. Therefore their Maker will not have compassion on them, and their Creator will not be gracious to them.

你的救赎主耶和华——从你在母腹中就塑造了你，他如此说：“是我耶和华造了万物，我独自展开了诸天，我单独铺张了大地；

雅各啊，创造你的那一位，以色列啊，塑造你的那一位——耶和华如此说：“你不要害怕，因为我救赎了你；我提你的名召唤了你；你是属于我的！

牛认识它的主人，驴认识主人的槽；以色列却不认识我，我的子民却不领悟。”

他们每个都是被称为我名下的，是我为自己的荣耀所创造、所塑造的，是我做成的。”

因此，主不喜悦他们的青年人，也不怜悯他们的孤儿寡妇；因为他们都是不敬虔的，是作恶的，各人的口都说愚顽的话。即使如此，耶和华的怒气还不转消，他的手仍然伸出。

愚昧无知、不守信用、没有亲情、毫无怜悯。

既然人不愿意真正认识神，神就任凭他们存败坏的理性，去做那些不该做的事。

要知道，那不施怜悯的人，要受毫无怜悯的审判；怜悯胜过审判。

阻止我们向外邦人传道使外邦人得救。这样，他们常常积满自己的罪孽，而神的震怒在最后临到了他们身上！

无论谁听了天国的话语而不领悟，那恶者就来，把那撒在他心里的夺走；这就是那被撒上种子的‘路边之地’。

神要在烈火中报应那些不认识神的人，以及那些不顺从我们主耶稣福音的人；他们将受到刑罚，就是永远的灭亡，从主面前被隔绝，离开他权能的荣耀。

于是耶和华的怒气向他的子民发作；他厌恶自己的继业，

耶和华就后悔在地上造了人，心中忧伤。耶和华说：“我要把我所创造的人从地面上抹掉，并且从人到牲畜、到爬行之物、到天空的飞鸟都抹掉，因为我后悔造了他们。”

一个人如果不住在我里面，就像枝条被丢在外面枯干了，然后被收集扔进火里焚烧。

那造你——从你在母腹中就塑造你，并要帮助你的耶和华如此说：“我的仆人雅各，我所拣选的耶书仑哪，你不要害怕！

这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。他们不反思，也没有知识和聪慧来说：“我用一半的木头烧火，又在火炭上烘饼，烤肉吃。我怎么能用剩下的木头制造可憎之物呢？我怎么能向一块木头膜拜呢？”他们追求的只是灰烬；他们的心受了迷惑，使他们偏离正道；他们不能救自己，也不会说：“我右手中的，难道不是虚谎之物吗？”雅各啊，以色列啊，你要记住这些，因为你是我的仆人。我造了你，你是我的仆人；以色列啊，你不会被我忘记！

就是你右手所栽种的幼苗，你为自己所坚固的根苗。这葡萄树在烈火中被烧了，被砍掉了，因你脸上的怒容就要灭亡。

因为这子民的心麻木了，他们充耳不闻，眼睛闭着；免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里领悟，回转过来，我就使他们痊愈。’

现在斧子已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树都要被砍下来，被丢进火里。
