My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

My heart longs for you at night. My spirit longs for you in the morning. You will come and judge the earth. Then the people of the world will learn to do what is right.

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.

I long for you in the night; yes, my spirit within me diligently seeks you, for when your judgments are in the land, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

我夜間躺臥在床上，尋找我心所愛的；我尋找他，卻尋不着。「我要起來，繞行城中，在街市上，在廣場上，尋找我心所愛的。」我尋找他，卻尋不着。城中巡邏的守衛遇見我，「你們看見我心所愛的沒有？」我剛離開他們，就遇見我心所愛的。我拉住他，不放他走，領他進入我母親的家，到懷我者的內室。

在那些日子，耶穌出去，上山祈禱，整夜向神禱告。

我要去，我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我的面；急難時他們必切切尋求我。

我因你公義的典章，夜半起來稱謝你。

正在那時候，地大震動，城倒塌了十分之一；因地震而死的有七千人，其餘的都恐懼，歸榮耀給天上的神。

當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，在他接近的時候求告他。

愛我的，我也愛他，懇切尋求我的，必尋見。

我在患難之日尋求主，在夜間不住地舉手禱告，我的心不肯受安慰。我想念神，就煩躁不安；我沉思默想，心靈發昏。（細拉）

我身躺臥，我心卻醒。這是我良人的聲音；他敲門：「我的妹子，我的佳偶，我的鴿子，我完美的人兒，請你為我開門；因我的頭沾滿露水，我的髮被夜露滴濕。」我脫了衣裳，怎能再穿上呢？我洗了腳，怎可再弄髒呢？我的良人從門縫裏伸進他的手，我便因他動了心。我起來，要為我的良人開門。我的兩手滴下沒藥，我的指頭有沒藥汁滴在門閂上。我為我的良人開了門，我的良人卻已轉身走了。他說話的時候，我魂不守舍。我尋找他，竟尋不着，我呼叫他，他卻不回答。城中巡邏的守衛遇見我，打了我，傷了我，看守城牆的人奪去我的披肩。耶路撒冷的女子啊，我囑咐你們：若遇見我的良人，要告訴他，我為愛而生病。

眾人都要害怕，要傳揚神的工作，並且明白他的作為。

他殺他們的時候，他們才求問他，回心轉意，切切尋求神。

因此，人必說：「義人誠然有善報，在地上果然有施行審判的神！」

然而，我指着我的永生與遍地充滿了耶和華的榮耀起誓：這些人雖然都看過我的榮耀和我在埃及與曠野所行的神蹟，仍然這十次試探我，不聽從我的話，他們絕不能看見我向他們祖宗所起誓應許之地；凡藐視我的，一個也不得看見。

所以，雅各的罪孽藉此得赦免，除罪的效果盡在乎此；他使祭壇的石頭變為粉碎的石灰，使亞舍拉和香壇不再立起。
