蓋耶和華出於其所、以罰地上居民之罪、地將暴露其血、被殺之人、不復掩蓋、

越在疇昔、人殺選民、瘞埋其血、今必昭然顯露、蓋耶和華勃興、降罰於世、以彰厥罪焉。

蓋主離其所、欲討地上居民之罪、地必顯露流入其中之血、不復掩蓋其上見殺者之屍、

See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

He is coming from the place where he lives. He will punish the people of the earth for their sins. The blood spilled on the earth will be brought out into the open. The ground will no longer hide those who have been killed.

Ye foolish ones, did not he that made the outside make the inside also?

What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof.And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.For this will I lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches.

And ye shall take no ransom for him that is fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood, it polluteth the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely thereon;therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly in an instant.And he shall break it as a potter’s vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces thereof a sherd wherewith to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.

For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the bare rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust.That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood upon the bare rock, that it should not be covered.

And the glory of Jehovah went forth from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
