At this my body is racked with pain, pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor; I am staggered by what I hear, I am bewildered by what I see.

人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

现在你为何大声哭号呢？疼痛抓住你仿佛产难的妇人，是因你中间没有君王吗？你的谋士灭亡了吗？锡安的民哪，你要疼痛劬劳，仿佛产难的妇人；因为你必从城里出来，住在田野，到巴比伦去。在那里要蒙解救；在那里耶和华必救赎你脱离仇敌的手。

因此，我心腹为摩押哀鸣如琴；我心肠为吉珥哈列设也是如此。

你因心里所恐惧的，眼中所看见的，早晨必说，巴不得到晚上才好；晚上必说，巴不得到早晨才好。

我听见耶和华的声音，身体战兢，嘴唇发颤，骨中朽烂；我在所立之处战兢。我只可安静等候灾难之日临到，犯境之民上来。

当时，忽有人的指头显出，在王宫与灯台相对的粉墙上写字。王看见写字的指头就变了脸色，心意惊惶，腰骨好像脱节，双膝彼此相碰，

因此，我要为西比玛的葡萄树哀哭，与雅谢人哀哭一样。希实本、以利亚利啊，我要以眼泪浇灌你；因为有交战呐喊的声音临到你夏天的果子，并你收割的庄稼。
