有关埃及的默示：看哪，耶和华乘驾飞快的云，即将临到埃及！埃及的偶像将在他面前颤抖，埃及人都心融胆丧。“我要激起埃及人敌对埃及人，各人攻击自己的兄弟，各人攻击自己的邻舍，城攻击城，国攻击国。埃及人必失魂落魄；我要使他们的计划混乱。他们必求问偶像、阴魂、招魂的和通灵的；我要把埃及交在严酷的主人手中，凶猛的君王必管辖他们。”这是主万军之耶和华的宣告。海里的水必枯干，大河必干涸枯竭，河道必发臭，埃及的河流必消减而干涸；芦苇和芦荻必凋萎，尼罗河边、尼罗河口的蒲草，以及沿着尼罗河所种的田都必枯竭，被风吹去，不复存在。渔夫必哀哭，尼罗河上所有垂钓的必悲恸，水面上撒网的也必衰颓。绩麻的和织白布的都必蒙羞，埃及的栋梁必被压碎，所有的雇工都必心里悲痛。琐安的首领们极其愚妄，法老最智慧的谋士们所出的谋略都是愚拙！你们怎么能对法老说“我是智慧人的子孙，是古代君王的后裔”？你的智慧人在哪里呢？让他们告诉你吧，让他们去明白万军之耶和华对埃及所策划的！琐安的首领们愚昧，挪弗的首领们被欺哄；埃及众支派中当房角石的，使埃及人迷失。耶和华在埃及中掺入了歪谬的灵，首领们就使埃及在一切所做的事上都迷失，好像醉酒的人呕吐时摇晃迷糊。无论是头是尾，是棕枝是芦苇，都不能为埃及成就什么。

他说：‘你去告诉这子民：你们将听了又听，但绝不会领悟；你们将看了又看，但绝不会明白；因为这子民的心麻木了，他们充耳不闻，眼睛闭着；免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里领悟，回转过来，我就使他们痊愈。’

邪恶的人要离弃自己的道路，作恶的人要撇弃自己的意念；他们当回转归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他们；当回转归向我们的神，因为神必广施赦免。

耶和华如此说：“埃及的辛苦所得、库实的盈利所得、身材高大的西巴人，都必来到你这里、归属你；他们必戴着锁链来跟随你，向你下拜，向你承认说：‘神真是在你们中间，别无其二，没有别的神！’”

我要从以色列子民和外邦人当中把你救出来。我差派你到他们那里去，为了开启他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗归向光明，从撒旦的权势下归向神，使他们因着信我，罪得赦免，并且与那些被分别为圣的人同得继业。’“故此，阿格里帕王啊，我没有悖逆那从天上来的异象。我首先在大马士革，然后在耶路撒冷、犹太全地以及外邦人中，告诫人们要悔改，归向神，行事与悔改的心相称。
