我必激动埃及人攻击埃及人，弟兄攻击弟兄，邻舍攻击邻舍；这城攻击那城，这国攻击那国。

我要激起埃及人攻击埃及人，弟兄攻击弟兄，邻舍攻击邻舍，这城攻击那城，这国攻击那国。

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必使埃及人、兄弟友朋、城邑邦國、互相攻擊、埃及人必喪厥膽、其謀為我所敗、彼雖求偶像、為神所憑者、以及巫覡之輩、亦必委之於殘忍之主、暴虐之君。

我將使伊及人攻伊及人、兄弟攻兄弟、鄰人攻鄰人、邑攻邑、國攻國、

“ I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian— brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

The Lord says,“ I will stir up one Egyptian against another. Relatives will fight against relatives. Neighbors will fight against one another. Cities will fight against cities. Kingdoms will fight against one another.

And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom;

“ I will make Egyptian fight against Egyptian— brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, province against province.

I will provoke Egyptians against Egyptians; each will fight against his brother and each against his friend, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

“ So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; And they will fight, each against his brother and each against his neighbor, City against city and kingdom against kingdom.

“ I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom.

And I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

I will provoke Egypt against Egypt; each will fight against his brother and each against his friend, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city,[ and] kingdom against kingdom.

“ I will provoke civil strife in Egypt, brothers will fight with each other, as will neighbors, cities, and kingdoms.

I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians, and they will fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

基甸的三百人一起吹響號角時，耶和華使米甸人自相殘殺。他們逃往西利拉的伯·哈示他，一直逃到靠近他巴的亞伯·米何拉的邊境。

他和跟隨他的人聚集起來，衝入戰場，發現非利士人正互相殘殺，亂作一團。

家人之間反目成仇。

耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「一個國內部自相紛爭，必然滅亡；一座城、一個家內部自相紛爭，必然崩潰。

你看見的那十個角象徵另外十個還沒有得勢的王，他們將取得王權和那怪獸一同統治短暫的一段時期。他們一致同意把自己所有的能力和權柄交給那怪獸。他們將與羔羊交戰，但羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主，萬王之王。那些跟隨羔羊的是被呼召、蒙揀選、忠心耿耿的人。」天使又對我說：「你看見的那淫婦所坐的眾水象徵來自各民族、各國家、各語言族群的人。怪獸和牠頭上的十角必憎恨那淫婦，使她赤身露體、景況淒涼。牠們要吃她的肉，最後用火將她燒盡。因為上帝使眾王定意這樣做，好完成祂的旨意。他們便同心將政權交給那怪獸，直到上帝的話得到實現。

「那時，人必把自己的弟兄置於死地，父親必把兒子置於死地，兒女必反叛父母，置他們於死地。

我要在我的山嶺上叫刀劍攻擊歌革人，使他們自相殘殺。這是主耶和華說的。

他們開始唱歌讚美的時候，耶和華就派伏兵擊殺前來攻打猶大的亞捫人、摩押人和來自西珥山的人，打敗了他們。原來亞捫人和摩押人攻擊來自西珥山的人，消滅了他們，然後亞捫人和摩押人又自相殘殺。

以法蓮和瑪拿西必自相殘殺，又聯合起來攻打猶大。雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還沒有止息，祂降罰的手沒有收回。

上帝派遣一個邪靈挑起亞比米勒和示劍人之間的爭端，示劍人用詭詐的手段對待亞比米勒。

瑣安的首領愚昧，挪弗的首領糊塗。他們是埃及的房角石，卻把埃及人引入歧途。耶和華使錯謬的靈進入他們當中，使他們像又嘔又吐、東倒西歪的醉漢，做什麼都錯誤百出。

掃羅在便雅憫境內基比亞的哨兵看見非利士軍隊四散奔逃，潰不成軍。
