though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

The plants might start to grow on the day you set them out. The vines might begin to bud on the morning you plant them. But even if they do, there won’t be any harvest. Instead, there will be sickness and pain that won’t go away.

though you make them grow on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow, yet the harvest will flee away in a day of grief and incurable pain.

They may sprout on the day you set them out; yes, they may blossom on the very morning you plant them, but you will never pick any grapes from them. Your only harvest will be a load of grief and unrelieved pain.

據我所見，播惡收惡，種禍得禍。

在收割之前，在花已凋謝、葡萄將熟之時，耶和華必毀滅古實人，就像用刀削去葡萄樹的嫩枝，砍掉蔓延的枝條。他們的屍首成了山間鷙鳥和田野走獸的食物，夏天被鷙鳥啄食，冬天被走獸吞噬。

就是先知說假預言，祭司濫用權力，我的子民卻以此為樂。但當最後的結局來臨時，他們還能做什麼呢？

清晨還生機盎然，傍晚就凋謝枯萎。

以色列啊，不要歡喜快樂，不要像外族人那樣歡喜快樂！因為你對你的上帝不忠不貞，在各麥場上喜愛賣淫得資財。但麥場上的穀物將不夠養活你們，榨酒池裡也將缺乏新酒。你們將不能再住在耶和華的土地上。以法蓮要返回埃及，在亞述吃不潔之物。你們將不能再獻奠祭給耶和華，你們的祭牲也不蒙悅納。這些祭物如居喪之人的食物，吃的人都被玷污。你們的食物只能供自己吃，不能帶進耶和華的殿。

至於那些自私自利、違背真理、行為不義的人，祂的烈怒和怒氣要降在他們身上。一切作惡之人必受患難和痛苦，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。

以法蓮要被擊打，他們的根將枯乾，再也不能結果。就算他們能生兒育女，我也要殺死他們心愛的孩子。」

你們要為自己種植公義，就能收穫慈愛。現在是尋求耶和華的時候，你們要犁開剛硬的心田，等祂來使公義如雨澆灌你們。可是，你們種的是邪惡，收的是不義，吃的是謊言的果實。因為你們倚靠自己的力量，仰仗眾多的勇士。因此，戰爭的喧囂將從你們中間傳出，你們的一切堡壘將被摧毀，恰如沙勒幔摧毀伯·亞比勒，將城中的母子一同摔死。伯特利啊，你罪大惡極，必將遭遇同樣的下場。那日來臨時，以色列的王將被徹底消滅。

你這樣硬著心不肯悔改等於是為自己積蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公義審判的那天必臨到你。

醉漢啊，醒過來哭泣吧！貪杯的人啊，哀號吧！你們再無美酒可飲了。有一群兇猛的蝗蟲侵犯我的國土，牠們不計其數，有雄獅的獠牙和母獅的利齒。牠們毀壞我的葡萄樹和無花果樹，剝光樹皮，只留下光禿的樹枝。我的子民啊，你們要像死了未婚夫的少女，穿上喪服痛哭哀號。耶和華殿中的素祭和奠祭都停止了，事奉耶和華的祭司都哀傷。田園荒廢，遍地淒涼，五穀盡毀，再也沒有新酒和油了。農夫啊，你們要憂傷！照料葡萄園的人啊，你們要哀號！因為田間的大麥和小麥全毀了。葡萄樹枯死，無花果樹凋殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹等田野的一切樹木枯乾。人間的歡樂消逝了。

所以主耶和華說：「看啊，我的僕人必有吃有喝，你們卻要饑渴交加；我的僕人必歡喜，你們卻要受羞辱；我的僕人必歡喜快樂，揚聲歌唱，你們卻要傷心欲絕，嚎啕大哭。

我告訴你們，將來有許多從東從西來的人會在天國與亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各一同歡宴。但那些本應承受天國的人反會被趕出去，在黑暗裡哀哭切齒。」

不要自欺，上帝是輕慢不得的。人種什麼收什麼。順從罪惡的本性撒種的，必從罪惡的本性收取敗壞的惡果；順從聖靈撒種的，必從聖靈收取永生。
