爾遭患難、不納慰藉、若飄於颶風、我必以光石青玉作爾基、

巴比倫王巴拉但子、米羅達巴拉但、聞希西家病愈、致書饋禮、希西家喜、以寶物金銀、芬芳之品、香膏器皿、府庫及宮闈四境所有、俱使之觀。先知以賽亞見希西家王曰、此人奚自、與爾何言。希西家曰、來自遠方、即巴比倫、曰、彼在宮闈、所見何物。希西家曰、凡宮闈府庫之物、悉令觀焉。以賽亞曰、當聽耶和華言。自昔迄今、爾宮闈之什物、及列祖所藏、其將遷於巴比倫靡有孑遺。爾之子孫、為人所擄、在巴比倫王宮為宦豎。希西家告以賽亞曰、爾所傳耶和華之言甚善。又曰、我尚存之日、仍享綏安、豈非善乎。

當斯時也、斯杖已折、從我之羊、已遭困苦、則知所言確然、耶和華之命不虛、

為困乏與謙遜之人聽訟、秉公行義、作惡者流、必遭箠楚、以辭氣滅之、
