对你说，‘你如今也跟我们一样软弱无能。’

他们都必答话，对你说：‘你也变为衰弱，像我们一样吗？你也与我们相似吗？’

他們都要發言對你說：你也變為軟弱像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？

他們都要發言，對你說：『你也變為軟弱，像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？』

他們都必應時對你說：「你也變為衰弱、像我們一樣啊！你也跟我們相似啊！」

他們都必回應你，說：『你竟然像我們一樣變得軟弱無能，與我們相似了！』

僉謂爾曰、爾亦荏弱似我乎、爾與吾儕相若乎、

曰、爾豈如我之荏弱哉、

悉發言向爾曰、爾亦弱同我儕乎、爾與我儕相若乎、

They will all respond, they will say to you,“ You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.”

All of them call out to you. They say,‘ You have become weak, just as we are. You have become like us.’

All of them will answer and say to you:‘ You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!’

With one voice they all cry out,‘ Now you are as weak as we are!

They all respond to you, saying,“ You too have become as weak as we are; you have become like us!

They will all respond and say to you,‘ Even you have become weak as we, You have become like us.

They all shall speak and say to you:‘ Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?

All they shall answer and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

They all respond to you, saying:“ You too have become as weak as we are; you have become like us!

All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

All of them respond to you, saying:‘ You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us!

They all will answer and ask you,“ Have you also become as weak as we are? Have you become like us?”

我曾说：‘你们是神，都是至高者的儿子。’然而你们要死去，像世人一样；要仆倒，像任何一位首领。”

因为智慧人与愚昧人一样，不会被永远记念；在将要来的日子，一切都会被忘掉。为什么智慧人像愚昧人一样会死亡呢？

他们只是依靠财富、自夸多财的人。人实在不能救赎弟兄，也不能把他的赎价交给神，——因为灵魂的赎价昂贵，人只好永远罢休——好使他永久存活，不看到阴坑。要知道，人必看见智慧人也会死；愚昧人和愚拙人一同灭亡，把他们的财富留给别人。他们以为自己的家必存到永远，他们的住所必存到万代；他们用自己的名字给土地命名。可是人在尊荣中不能持久，就像要灭亡的牲畜一样。这就是那些愚昧之人的道路，也是他们之后那些喜悦他们话语之人的道路。细拉他们像注定下到阴间的羊群，死亡将作他们的牧者；到了清晨，正直人将管辖他们。他们的形体必被阴间吞噬，无处容身。

人在尊荣中却没有悟性，就像要灭亡的牲畜一样。

又有一个穷人，名叫拉撒路，满身脓疮，被放在财主的门口，渴望得到财主桌子上掉下来的碎渣充饥，甚至有狗来舔他的疮。后来那穷人死了，被天使们带到亚伯拉罕的怀里。接着，那财主也死了，并且被埋葬了。财主在阴间的痛苦中，举目远远地望见亚伯拉罕，又望见拉撒路在他怀里，
