Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles.

他必豎立旗幟，招一國的人從遠方而來，發出哨聲把他們從地極召來；看！他們必急速快奔而來。

“你們要在列國中傳揚和宣告，要豎起旗幟宣揚，不可隱瞞，說：‘巴比倫被攻取了！彼勒蒙羞，米羅達驚慌；巴比倫的神像都蒙羞，它的偶像都驚慌。’

“行毀滅的山哪，就是毀滅全地的山哪！我要和你作對，我要伸手攻擊你，使你從山巖上滾下來，使你成為燒毀了的山。”這是耶和華的宣告。

“我耶和華所膏立的古列，我緊握著他的右手，使列國降服在他面前；我也鬆開列王的腰帶；我使門戶在他面前敞開，使城門不得關閉；耶和華對古列這樣說：我必親自領導你，把高低不平的路修平；銅門，我必打破；鐵門，我必砍斷。我必把隱藏的寶物和在隱密處的財寶賜給你，使你知道我就是按著你的名呼召了你的耶和華，以色列的神。

就在今日，亞述王要停留在挪伯；他要揮拳攻擊錫安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的山，就是耶路撒冷的山。

世上所有的居民，住在全地上的人哪！山上豎起旗幟的時候，你們要注意；號角吹響的時候，你們要聆聽。

耶和華必使埃及的海灣乾涸；他要用熱風在大河之上揮手，他要擊打它，使它分成七道支流，使人走過去也不會把鞋弄濕。

他必向列國豎起旗幟，召聚以色列被擄去的人，又從地的四方聚集分散了的猶大人。
