我必因世界的邪惡施行刑罰，也必因惡人的罪孽懲罰他們；我要使狂妄人的驕傲止息，使強暴人的狂傲降卑。

我必因邪恶刑罚世界，因罪孽刑罚恶人，使骄傲人的狂妄止息，制伏强暴人的狂傲。

我必因邪恶惩罚世界，因罪孽惩罚恶人，我要止息骄傲人的狂妄，制伏残暴者的傲慢。

我必緣邪慝而罰斯世、因罪愆而懲惡人、止驕者之傲、抑暴者之高、

天下億兆、咎戾滋多、主必罰之、高者降之為卑、強者汰其驕心、

我必因世之惡罰世、懲惡人之罪愆、息滅驕奢者之威勢、制伏強暴者之傲氣、

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

So I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; I will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.

“ I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

I will bring disaster on the world, and their own iniquity, on the wicked. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

伯沙撒啊！你是他的子孫，你雖然知道這一切，你的心仍不謙卑，竟高抬自己，敵對天上的主，使人把他殿中的器皿拿到你面前來，你和你的大臣、妻妾、妃嬪用這些器皿喝酒；你又讚美那些不能看見、不能聽見、甚麼都不能知道，用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所做的神，卻沒有把榮耀歸給那手中有你的氣息，和那掌管你一切命途的神。

到那日，眼目高傲的人必降卑，性情驕傲的人也必俯首，唯獨耶和華被高舉。

人的高傲必變為謙虛，人的狂妄都必降為卑微，在那日，唯獨耶和華被高舉。

卑賤人俯首，尊貴人降卑，眼目高傲的也降卑。

因為你看！耶和華從他的居所出來，要懲罰地上居民的罪孽；大地要露出其上所流的血，不再遮蓋被殺的人。”

因為他們的祖宗犯了罪孽，你們要為他的子孫預備屠殺之處；不要讓他們興起來，佔有地土，在世上布滿城鎮。”

惡人卻有禍了，他們必遭災難，因為他們必按自己手所作的得報應。

大地悲哀衰殘，世界零落衰殘，地上居高位的人也衰敗了。大地被其上的居民玷污，因為他們犯了律法，違了律例，背了永遠的約。因此，大地被咒詛吞滅，地上的居民要承擔懲罰。因此，地上的居民被焚燒，剩下的人很少。

以色列人說：“巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅了我們，使我們十分混亂，又使我們成為空的器皿；他像怪獸把我們吞下，他的肚塞滿了我們的美物，他卻把我們吐出去。”錫安的居民要說：“願巴比倫以強暴待我們（“我們”或譯：“我和我骨肉之親”）的罪歸到巴比倫身上。”耶路撒冷要說：“願流我血的罪歸到迦勒底的居民身上。”因此，耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必為你的案件申訴，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的河水枯竭，使它們的水源乾涸。巴比倫必變成亂堆，成為野狗的巢穴，成為令人驚駭和嗤笑的對象，沒有人居住。巴比倫人必像少壯獅子一起吼叫，又像幼獅咆哮。

卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。

明亮之星、清晨之子啊！你怎麼從天上墜落？你這傾覆列國的，怎麼被砍倒在地上？你心裡曾說：‘我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座到神的眾星之上，我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。我要升到雲的高處，我要使自己像那至高者一般。’然而，你卻被拋下陰間，落到坑中的極處。那些看見你的，都必定睛看你，他們必注視著你，說：‘那使大地震動，使列國搖撼，

“要召集弓箭手去攻擊巴比倫，要召集所有拉弓的；要在巴比倫的四圍安營攻擊它，不容一人逃脫。要照著它的所作所為報應它，它怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待它；因它狂傲地敵對耶和華，與以色列的聖者為敵。所以，它的年輕人必仆倒在它的街道上，到那一天，它所有的戰士都必被消滅。”這是耶和華的宣告。“傲慢的人哪！我必敵對你（這是主萬軍之耶和華的宣告），因為你的日子，就是我懲罰你的時候，來到了。那傲慢的必絆跌仆倒，沒有人扶他起來；我必在他的城鎮中放火，吞滅他四圍的一切。”

他用強有力的聲音呼喊說：“傾倒了！大巴比倫傾倒了！成了鬼魔的住處，各樣污靈的監獄，一切污穢可憎之雀鳥的牢籠，因為各國都喝她淫亂烈怒的酒醉了；地上的君王與她行淫，世上的商人因她奢華揮霍就發了財。”

於是那大龍被摔了下來。牠就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的人的。牠被摔在地上，牠的天使也跟牠一同被摔了下來。我又聽見天上有大聲音說：“我們神的救恩、能力、國度和他所立的基督的權柄，現在都已經來到了！因為那晝夜在我們神面前控告我們弟兄的控告者，已經被摔下來了！
