If the Lord of armies Had not left us a few survivors, We would be like Sodom, We would be like Gomorrah.

若不是万军之耶和华给我们稍留余种，我们早已像所多玛、蛾摩拉的样子了。

若不是万军之耶和华为我们留下一些幸存者，我们早已变成所多玛，像蛾摩拉一样了。

如萬軍之耶和華、不為我儕少留遺民、則必若所多瑪、猶蛾摩拉矣、○

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。

若萬有之主、不為我儕少有所遺、則必如所多瑪然、與俄摩拉無異矣、

Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.

The Lord who rules over all has let some people live through that time of trouble. If he hadn’t, we would have become like Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.

If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we should have been like Sodom, and become like Gomorrah.

If the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had not spared a few of us, we would have been wiped out like Sodom, destroyed like Gomorrah.

If the LORD of Armies had not left us a few survivors, we would be like Sodom, we would resemble Gomorrah.

Unless the Lord of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah.

Except Jehovah of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

If the Lord of Hosts had not left us a few survivors, we would be like Sodom, we would resemble Gomorrah.

Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom,[ and] we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

If the LORD who commands armies had not left us a few survivors, we would have quickly become like Sodom, we would have become like Gomorrah.

Unless Yahweh of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.

And just as Isaiah foretold:“ If the Lord of armies had not left us descendants, We would have become like Sodom, and would have been like Gomorrah.”

The survivors that are left of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward.For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go, and out of Mount Zion survivors. The zeal of the Lord of armies will perform this.” ’

Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord out of heaven,

The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail.

Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to taunt the living God, and will avenge the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’ ”

For so it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.

Then he said,“ Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once: suppose ten are found there?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it on account of the ten.”

For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Therefore, as I live,” declares the Lord of armies, The God of Israel,“ Moab will assuredly be like Sodom, And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah— Ground overgrown with weeds and full of salt mines, And a permanent desolation. The remnant of My people will plunder them, And the remainder of My nation will inherit them.”

“ However, I will leave a remnant, in that you will have those who escaped the sword among the nations when you are scattered among the countries.

Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

And it will come about in all the land,” Declares the Lord,“ That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it.And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say,‘ They are My people,’ And they will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’ ”

For the wrongdoing of the daughter of my people Is greater than the sin of Sodom, Which was overthrown as in a moment, And no hands were turned toward her.

Isaiah cries out concerning Israel,“ Though the number of the sons of Israel may be like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved;

Yet, behold, survivors will be left in it who will be brought out, both sons and daughters. Behold, they are going to come out to you, and you will see their conduct and actions; then you will be comforted for the disaster which I have brought against Jerusalem for everything which I have brought upon it.

‘ All its land is brimstone and salt, burned debris, unsown and unproductive, and no grass grows on it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and in His wrath.’

But what is the divine response to him?“ I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.

and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example of what is coming for the ungodly;

And it will come about that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Will be saved; For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem There will be those who escape, Just as the Lord has said, Even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.

Yet there will still be a tenth portion in it, And it will again be subject to burning, Like a terebinth or an oak Whose stump remains when it is cut down. The holy seed is its stump.”

Lord, I have heard the report about You, and I was afraid. Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make it known. In anger remember mercy.

Yet gleanings will be left in it like the shaking of an olive tree, Two or three olives on the topmost branch, Four or five on the branches of a fruitful tree, Declares the Lord, the God of Israel.

Now on that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will no longer rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.For though your people, Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.

So the Lord said,“ If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the entire place on their account.”

“ I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a log snatched from a fire; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

but on the day that Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
