Israel has forgotten their Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire on their cities that will consume their fortresses.”

因为你忘记了那拯救你的神，不记念你避难的磐石。因此，你虽栽上佳美的秧子，种上外族的葡萄枝，

耶和华挪去了犹大的屏障。到那日，你们指望森林宫殿里的兵器；你们看见大卫城的破口很多，就积聚下池的水；你们数点耶路撒冷的房屋，把房屋拆掉，用来加固城墙；你们又在两道城墙之间造蓄水池，用来盛旧池的水；但你们却没有指望行这事的、没有顾念在远古计划这事的那一位。

实际上，我们是神的创作，是为了美善的工作在基督耶稣里被造成的；神早已预备好了美善工作，要我们在其中行事。

他看见了自己的子孙——我的手在雅各家中的作为，就必尊我的名为圣，尊雅各的圣者为圣，敬畏以色列的神。

这百姓是我为自己所造的，好让他们讲述对我的赞美。

所以他把猛烈的怒火和惨烈的战火都倾泻在以色列身上；火就在他们四围烧起，他们却不明白，火烧着了他们，他们也不放在心上。

他们忘记了神是他们的拯救者——是他在埃及行了大事，

耶和华如同勇士出征，又像战士激起热心；他呼喊，大声呐喊，战胜仇敌。
