Judah’s leaders are like those who move boundary stones. I will pour out my wrath on them like a flood of water.

Judah’s leaders have stolen some land. They have moved their borders farther north. So I will pour out my anger on them like a flood of water.

The princes of Judah have become like those who move the landmark; upon them I will pour out my wrath like water.

“ The leaders of Judah have become like thieves. So I will pour my anger on them like a waterfall.

The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary markers; I will pour out my fury on them like water.

爾上帝耶和華所賜之地、爾據而有之、則鄰里之界址、前人所定者、毋得遷徙。

耶和華兮、波濤澎湃、其聲噌吰兮、維爾巍巍、勝於海濤之洶湧兮、

又曰、遷徙鄰里之界址者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

因此敬虔之士、於見納之時、禱告於爾、即使洪水泛濫、災不及身、

鄰里之界址、前人所定、毋行遷徙。

釁隙之開、若江河之潰、故爭競將起、必弭之。

亞哈士求助於亞述王。蓋以東人復擊猶大、擄其民人。非利士人侵猶大南、平原之邑、陷伯示麥、亞耶倫、其得落說哥、亭納、金鎖、及鄉里、據其地而居之。亞哈士違逆耶和華、使猶大族效己、故耶和華降災猶大。亞述王滴臘比利斯既至、加以困苦、不為援手。亞哈士以耶和華殿、王宮、宦室之物、悉賂亞述王、猶不之助。患難之際、亞哈士王愈犯耶和華、

余赫斯怒、視爾所為、深堪痛疾、降災爾躬、不加矜憫、使知責爾者、乃我耶和華。

雨降潦行、風吹撞屋、遂以傾覆、而傾覆者大也、○

禍患叢集、如水淹余、靡日不然兮。

亞哈士遣人至亞述王滴臘比利斯曰、我乃爾之子臣、亞蘭王及以色列王攻我、請爾至此、援我於其手。亞哈士以耶和華殿、及王宮府庫、所有之金銀、饋於亞述王。亞述王允所請、往攻大馬色、而陷其城、殺哩汛、虜其民人至吉。

惟聞而不行者、譬諸無基、而建屋土上、橫流衝之、遂以傾圮、而屋之頹壞者大也、
