你要吃，却吃不饱，你的肚子仍是空空。你必被挪去，不得逃脱；如有逃脱的，我必交给刀剑。

我要断绝你们粮食的供应，使十个女人用一个烤炉给你们烤饼，按配给的定量秤给你们。你们要吃，却吃不饱。

你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；领工钱的，领了工钱却装入有破洞的袋中。

以法莲，他们的荣耀如鸟飞去，必不生产，不怀胎，不成孕；他们纵然将儿女养大，我却要使他们丧子，一个也不留。我离弃他们，他们就有祸了。我看以法莲如推罗栽于美地。以法莲却要将自己的儿女带出来，交给行杀戮的人。耶和华啊，求你加给他们，加给他们什么呢？要使他们怀孕流产，乳房枯干。因他们在吉甲的一切恶事，我在那里憎恶他们。因他们所行的恶，我必把他们赶出我的殿，不再爱他们；他们的领袖都是悖逆的。以法莲受击打，其根枯干，不能结果，即或生产，我也要杀他们所生的爱子。我的神必弃绝他们，因为他们不听从他；他们必飘流在列国中。

耶何耶大死后，犹大的众领袖来叩拜王，那时王就听了他们。

义人吃喝食欲满足；恶人肚腹却是缺乏。

他口中的言语尽是罪孽诡诈，他不再有智慧，也不再行善。

我不因你们的女儿行淫或你们的媳妇犯奸淫惩罚她们；因为人自己转去与娼妓同居，与神庙娼妓一同献祭。这无知的百姓必致倾倒。

至于义人，他若转离义行而作恶，照着恶人所做一切可憎的事去做，岂能存活呢？他所行的一切义都不被记念；反而因所行的恶、所犯的罪死亡。

至于那偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必将他们和作恶的人一同驱逐出去。愿平安归于以色列！

所以，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；看哪，我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；看哪，我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。看哪，我的仆人因心中喜乐而欢呼，你们却因心里悲痛而哀哭，因灵里忧伤而哀号。你们必留下自己的名给我选民指着赌咒：主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。在地上为自己求福的，必凭真实的神求福；在地上起誓的，必指着真实的神起誓。因为从前的患难已被遗忘，从我眼前消逝。”

如今你们回转，行我眼中看为正的事，各人向邻舍宣告自由，并且在我面前、在称为我名下的殿中立约。

现在，众祭司啊，这诫命是给你们的。万军之耶和华说：“你们若不听，若不放在心上，将荣耀归给我的名，我就使诅咒临到你们，使你们的福分变为诅咒；其实我已经诅咒了你们的福分，因你们不把诫命放在心上。看哪，我要斥责你们的后裔，把粪抹在你们脸上，就是你们祭牲的粪。人要把你们和粪一起抬出去，

并那些转去不跟从耶和华，不寻求耶和华，也不求问他的。”

倘若他们因认识我们的主和救主耶稣基督而得以脱离世上的污秽，后来又被污秽缠住，被制伏，他们末后的景况就比先前更不好了。他们知道义路，竟背弃了传授给他们那神圣的诫命，倒不如不知道为妙。俗语说得好，这话正印证在他们身上了：“狗转过来吃自己所吐的；”又说：“猪洗净了，又回到烂泥里打滚。”
