In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.

He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you.

The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.

The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the Lord Almighty has spoken.

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the Lord,“ He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.If you say,“ The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

The arrogance of man will be brought low and human pride humbled; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,

I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

“ Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.

“‘ In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit under your vine and fig tree,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
