一僕不能事二主、或惡此愛彼、或重此輕彼、爾不能事上帝、又事貨財也、○

次日夙興、見大公隕於地、在耶和華匱前、其首與手斷於閾、遺下體而已。

萬有之主耶和華曰、當是日我必棄偶像於斯土、使人頓忘其名、亦必使感邪神之先知、驅逐於斯、

以法蓮譬諸炊餅、不反必致焦灼、

一人事二主者、未之有也、或惡此愛彼、或重此輕彼、爾不能事上帝、又事財貨也、

為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、使不信真理、悅不義者、悉定厥罪、
